Description of the work.

The hat is knitted from the bottom up.

Cast on 120 sts + 2 edge stitches on needle No. 3 and knit a decorative ribbing:

Row 1. *K1, P2, K2, (P2, K1, P2 together with a right twist, YO, K1) - 2 times, P2, K2, P2, K1*, repeat from * to * 4 times.

Row 2. *K1, P2, K2, (K2, P1) - 4 times, K2, P2, K2, P1*, repeat from * to * 4 times.

Row 3. *K1, P2, K2, (K2, P1, YO, K2 together with a left twist, K1) - 2 times, P2, K2, P2, K1*, repeat from * to * 4 times.

Row 4. Knit as row 2.

This is 4 rows of decorative ribbing. Then knit 13 more rows of decorative ribbing in the same way. A total of 17 rows will be knitted.

Increase = make 2 sts from 1 st.

Row 18. Row 23. K1, *K2 together, slip the next 2 sts onto the right needle, K1 and pull this stitch through the 2 unknitted stitches on the right needle, K2 together, K1, repeat from * to end = 21 sts.

Cut the yarn, pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten, and secure well. Stitch the back of the hat together.
