PATTERN FOR HAT

Pattern Scheme:

The scheme indicates both the right and wrong rows. The right (odd rows) are read from right to left, the wrong (even rows) are read from left to right.

The width of the braid is 18 stitches. Repeat from rows 1 to 12 in height.

Legend for the Schemes:

  -purl (purl in the right rows, knit in the wrong rows)

EMPTY CELL -knit (knit in the right rows, purl in the wrong rows)

Cross 6 stitches to the left (leave 3 stitches on the auxiliary needle in front of the work, knit the next 3 stitches, then knit 3 stitches from the auxiliary needle)

Cross 6 stitches to the right (leave 3 stitches on the auxiliary needle behind the work, knit the next 3 stitches, then knit 3 stitches from the auxiliary needle)
