Knitted yellow mohair dresshttp://klubok.work/1/100/4586/Klubok

The silhouette of this dress knitted from fluffy mohair yarn appears weightless when knitted loosely. Black leggings will be a wonderful addition.

Sizes: 36/38 (40/42) 44/46
Materials for the dress: 160 (200) 250 g of yellow Woolhair yarn (45% merino wool, 40% mohair, 15% polyamide, 200 m/50 g); straight and circular needles 80 and 60 cm long No. 5.5.

Purl stitch: right side - purl, wrong side - knit. In circular rows knit purl.

Stockinette stitch: right side - knit, wrong side - purl. In circular rows knit knit.

Lace pattern: number of stitches is a multiple of 10. Knit in circular rows according to the chart, which shows only the odd circular rows, in the even circular rows knit all stitches and yarn overs knit. Repeat the pattern. Knit from the 1st to the 20th circular row once.
Attention! In the 7th circular row of the pattern, make the first decrease as follows: slip the last stitch of the 6th circular row as knit, knit the first 2 stitches of the 7th circular row together knitwise and pull the resulting stitch through the slipped one.

Purl garter stitch, circular rows: alternate knitting 1 circular row purl and knit.

Knit density, purl stitch, stockinette stitch, and lace pattern: 13.5 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Attention! Knit the back and front together in circular rows until the armholes. First knit the sleeves separately, then join them between the back and front and finish all parts together. The sleeve pattern is shown separately.

Description of the women's dress knitting

Back and front ; cast on 192 (216) 240 sts with double yarn on long circular needles and join in the round; the beginning of the circular row = right side seam. Then knit with single yarn. For the hem, knit 1.5 cm = 3 circular rows in purl stitch and after that knit in stockinette stitch. After 13 cm = 26 circular rows from the hem, decrease for waist shaping as follows: 16 sts: * 2 (3) 4 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, 16 (17) 18 knit, 1 yarn over (= see abbreviations), 2 (3) 4 knit, repeat from * 7 more times = 176 (200) 224 sts.

Repeat these decreases 2 more times every 8th circular row and 2 times every 6th circular row, at which point after each circular row with decreases, knit in each pattern between decreases with 2 sts less, thus the decreases overlap and the distance between them decreases = 112 (136) 160 sts. In the next 5th circular row, decrease as follows: 12 (16) 20 sts:
for size 36/38 * 2 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, 6 knit, 1 yarn over, 4 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, 10 knit, repeat from * 3 more times:
for size 40/42 * 3 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, 7 knit, 1 yarn over, 3 knit, repeat from * 7 more times;
for size 44/46 * 4 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, 8 knit, 1 yarn over, 8 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, 8 knit, 1 yarn over, 2 knit, knit 2 sts together knitwise, repeat from * 3 more times = 100 (120) 140 sts.

Then knit 2 more circular rows without decreases. After 31 cm = 62 circular rows from the hem, knit 10 cm = 20 circular rows in lace pattern and then continue knitting in stockinette stitch. After 3.5 cm = 7 circular rows from the end of the lace pattern, increase for slopes as follows: mark the middle 2 sts from the beginning of the circular row (= left side seam), then from the beginning of the circular row increase after the 1st st, on both sides of the middle 2 sts and until the last stitch by 1 twisted knit from the transverse thread = 104 (124) 144 sts.

Repeat these increases 2 more times every 6th circular row = 112 (132) 152 sts. After 14 cm = 28 circular rows from the end of the lace pattern, make the armholes: bind off 3 sts knit 50 (60) 70, bind off 6 sts, knit 50 (60) 70 knit and bind off 3 sts. After that, set all stitches aside.

Sleeves: cast on 33 (37) 41 sts with double yarn and then knit with single yarn. For the hem, knit 1.5 cm = 3 rows in purl stitch, starting with 1 purl row. Then knit in stockinette stitch, while for the slopes of the sleeve, increase from the hem on both sides every 4th row 2 (3) 4 x 1 st = 37 (43) 49 sts. After 5 cm = 10 rows (7 cm = 14 rows) 9 cm = 18 rows from the hem, bind off for the armholes on both sides 3 sts and set aside the remaining 31 (37) 43 sts.

Yoke:
transfer the stitches of the back, left sleeve, front, and right sleeve onto long circular needles, marking both adjacent edges as raglan stitches; the beginning of the circular row = the back right raglan line. Knit on all 162 (194) 226 sts in circular rows in stockinette stitch, while in the 1st circular row decrease for the raglan slopes 8 sts. For this, before 2 raglan sts make 1 yarn over and after the raglan stitches knit 2 sts together knitwise = 154 (186) 218 sts.

Repeat these decreases 7 more times every 3rd circular row and 1 (4) 7 times every 2nd circular row. If necessary, switch to shorter circular needles. At the height of the yoke 12 cm = 24 circular rows (15 cm = 30 circular rows) 18 cm = 36 circular rows, knit for the hem on the remaining 90 (98) 106 sts for another 2 cm = 4 circular rows in purl garter stitch and bind off all stitches knit.

Assembly: sew the seams at the horizontal edges of the armholes and the seams of the sleeves.
