Cast on stitches with a cord

Cast on 3 sts 1st row (WS) 1 k. through the front and back of each st, 2 k., place the last 3 knitted sts on the left needle. Next row* Pull the yarn behind the work as for the cord, k. through the front and back of each st, 2 k. Place the last 3 knitted sts on the left needle, repeat from * until you have the desired number of stitches for casting on.

LEFT GLOVE

Using the cord cast-on technique, cast on 43 sts. Turn work. Bind off 1 st as for purling, turn work — 41 sts. Slip the 2 just knitted sts to the right needle, mark the beginning of the row, join and evenly distribute the stitches on 4 double-pointed needles.

Start working the pattern according to the chart

Knit according to the left glove chart until the 30th row. 31st row 12 sts, as shown on the chart, slip the next 11 sts for the thumb, cast on 11 sts. As shown on the chart, knit according to the chart until the 48th row, slip the last 7 sts to a double-pointed needle, for the left little finger.
