Textured pattern mittens.

You will need 100 g of SandnessGarn Lanett yarn (50 g = 195 m, 100% merino wool), 3.75 mm needles, and a cable needle.
Knitting gauge: 20 sts and 32 rounds = 10 x 10 cm
Size: women's M or men's S (total length 30 cm, hand circumference 20 cm), length from the base of the thumb to the tips of the fingers 13.5 cm. If you want to knit longer or shorter, repeat or skip the rounds marked in green on the chart. The height of the green-marked repeat is approximately 1.5 cm.
Right mitten Cast on 44 sts (in 2 strands). Knit according to the chart, starting from the 1st row. The chart includes the entire mitten except for the palm and thumb (they are knitted in stockinette stitch). Set aside 13 sts for the thumb (red line on the chart). When all rows according to the chart are completed, knit all sts 2 together. Cut the yarn, pull the end of the yarn through the remaining sts, and tighten it firmly. The left mitten is knitted symmetrically. (1st round with increases: 17 knit, make 1 new st, 1 knit, make 1 new st, 4 knit.)
Thumb Cast on 13 sts from the reserved sts and 7 more sts. Knit on 20 sts until the desired length of the thumb. Then knit all sts 2 together, knit another round in knit, and then another round 2 together knit. Cut the yarn, pull the end of the yarn through the remaining sts, and tighten it firmly.
