HOW TO CROCHET A RAGLAN SLEEVE FOR A DRESS

Knitting a raglan sleeve is not that difficult. A dress with a raglan sleeve looks very elegant and nice. I wanted to knit a raglan dress in dense stockinette stitch, so that there would be a cutout on the back and a "high neck" in the front. Stages of knitting: Such a dress is knitted from top to bottom. We knit a chain of air stitches of the necessary length according to the size of the neckline, taking into account the calculation for the raglan (see below). We knit the fabric, drawing the raglan line, without joining into a circle. The connection is made only after finishing the raglan knitting. Calculation for the raglan: We distribute the air stitches so that one third goes to the front, one third to the back (one sixth for each part of the back), and one third to the sleeves — one sixth for each sleeve, with 5 air stitches on the raglan line.
