HOW TO CONNECT THE EDGE WITH TEETH

 Perfect for decorative finishing 1.Cast on an even number of stitches on a waste yarn. (illus. 1) 2. Join the main yarn. Knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch. 3. Picot row. Yarn over, knit 2 together until the end of the row (this row will form the fold). 4. Knit another 4 rows in stockinette stitch. (illus. 2) Note: it is very important that the number of rows before and after the picot row is the same) 5. Remove the waste yarn and transfer the stitches to a second needle) 6. Fold the work at the picot row. The second needle behind the first. 7. Knit the first stitch from the front needle together with the first stitch on the second needle. Continue to knit the stitches together until the end of the row. All stitches should be paired. 8. And there you have your picot edge! (illus. 5 and 6)
