Description of work

Back. Cast on 122 (128) sts. Starting from the purl row, knit garter stitch for 3 rows. Then distribute the stitches as follows: selvedge st, knit 2 (5) sts between the arrows a (b) and c according to the chart, knit 22 sts between arrows c and e 2 times, knit 28 sts between arrows e and f, adding 8 sts as shown on the chart = 36 sts, knit 22 sts between arrows e and c 2 times, knit 2 (5) sts between arrows c and a (b), selvedge st = 130 (136) sts. Continue knitting as established and add 24 sts at the beginning and end of the 3rd row, as shown on the chart = 178 (184) sts. Continue knitting the established pattern to the height of the back 43 (44) cm from the garter stitch. Then for the armholes, bind off 15 (17) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows = 148 (150) sts. Continue knitting the established pattern to the height of the armholes 23 (24) cm. Bind off stitches and at the same time knit 3 sts together knitwise 2 times and 2 sts together knitwise 1 time at the cable sections.

Front. Knit as for the back to the height of the armholes 17 (18) cm. Then knit to the center 20 sts, attach a new yarn from another ball, bind off the center 20 sts, knit to the end of the row. Then knit both sides at the same time, but from different balls. Bind off 3 sts at each edge of the neckline on both sides 3 times, 2 sts 1 time, and 1 st 4 times. At a height of 6 cm from the start of the neckline, bind off the remaining 49 (50) sts for each shoulder.

Sleeves. Cast on 66 sts. Starting from the purl row and knitting the first stitch after the selvedge and the last stitch before the selvedge as 1 purl, knit ribbing and at the same time for the sleeve expansion add 1 st on both sides in the 6th row from the cast-on edge, then in every following 6th row 21 (15) times, then in every following 4th row 3 (12) times = 116 (122) sts. Include the added stitches in the ribbing. Continue knitting ribbing to a height of 52 cm from the cast-on edge. Place markers at the right and left edges. Knit another 5 (6) cm, then bind off stitches loosely.

Knit the second sleeve similarly.

Assembly and finishing. Lay out the pieces and pin them according to the pattern, cover with a damp cloth and leave to dry.

Sew the shoulder and side seams, the sleeve seams to the markers.

On circular needles, pick up and knit 104 sts along the neckline edge. Join the knitting in the round and knit ribbing for 22 cm. Bind off stitches loosely according to the pattern. Set in the sleeves. Fold the collar outward.
