Knitting density: pattern "seed": 20 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm; chart 1: 5.5 cm and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm; chart 2: 9.5 cm and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Abbreviations. OP - short rows (INSTRUCTION); K4P - slip 2 sts onto a helper needle behind work, 2 knit, then 2 knit from helper needle; K4L - slip 2 sts onto a helper needle in front of work, 2 knit, then 2 knit from helper needle; 4 PP - slip 2 sts onto a helper needle behind work, 2 knit, then 2 purl from helper needle; 4 PL - slip 2 sts onto a helper needle in front of work, 2 purl, then 2 knit from helper needle. Pattern "seed" (odd number of stitches): 1st row (RS): 1 knit, * 1 purl, 1 knit; repeat from * to end of row; 2nd row (WS): knit the knit stitches purlwise, purl the purl stitches knitwise. Repeat the 2nd row.

DESCRIPTION.

Back. On straight needles cast on 107 (113, 119, 125) sts and knit 2 rows in pattern "seed". Continue as follows: 1st setup row (RS): knit 57 (61, 65, 69) sts in pattern "seed", 1 purl, then knit the next 12 sts 2 times according to chart 4, place a marker, then knit the next 12 sts 2 times according to chart 5, place a marker, then knit the next 20 sts 2 times according to chart 3, place a marker, 1 purl, then knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in pattern "seed". 2nd setup row (WS): knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in pattern "seed", 1 knit, then knit the next 20 sts 2 times according to chart 3, then knit the next 12 sts 2 times according to chart 5, then knit the next 12 sts 2 times according to chart 4, 1 knit, then knit 57 (61, 65, 69) sts in pattern "seed". 3rd and 4th setup rows: repeat the 1st and 2nd setup rows. Then knit all the charts from row 5, then knit according to the pattern with the pattern stitches on each side, until the length of the piece reaches 9.5 cm from the cast-on edge. The next decrease row (RS): knit 1 st in pattern "seed", 2 knit together through the back loop, then knit according to the pattern until the last 3 sts: 2 knit together knitwise, 1 st in pattern "seed". Repeat the decrease every 6th row for another 3 times = 99 (105, 111, 117) sts. Knit straight for 3 rows. Compensation in short rows. Note! To compensate for the density difference between the large segment of pattern "seed" and the cable area along the left edge, short rows are knitted over the pattern "seed" only (along) on the back. 1st short row (RS): knit in pattern "seed" on all sts until the dividing 1 purl: O&P; 2nd short row (WS): knit in pattern "seed" to the end of the row. Repeat these 2 short rows after completing 10 rows until the end of the back. Simultaneously, after completing 6 rows from the first set of short rows, continue to shape the side as follows: Increase row (RS): 1 st in pattern "seed", 1 st increase, then knit according to the pattern until the last st: 1 st increase, 1 st in pattern "seed". Repeat the increases every 6th row for another 3 times = 107 (113, 119, 125) sts. Continue working, performing 2 short rows after every 10 rows. After 34 cm from the cast-on edge, begin to work the armhole, closing 4 (5, 5, 5) sts at the beginning of each of the next 4 rows, then decrease 1 st from both sides of each row 5 (5, 7, 8) times. Continue working straight until the height of the armhole is 19 (20.5, 21.5, 23) cm. Then work the shoulder slope.

Note! Due to the difference in knitting density, the number of closed stitches will be different for each shoulder. Close 7 (8, 7, 9) sts at the beginning of the next knit row, then 6 (7, 6) at the beginning of the next purl row. Continue to close 7 (7, 8, 8) sts at the beginning of the next 2 knit rows and 6 (6, 7, 7) sts at the beginning of the next 2 purl rows. Then close the remaining 42 stitches.

Front.

On straight needles cast on 127 (133, 139, 145) sts and knit 2 rows in pattern "seed". Continue as follows: 1st setup row (RS): knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in pattern "seed", then perform the 1st setup row for all patterns, then knit the rapport of 18 sts according to chart 1, place a marker, then the rapport of 30 sts according to chart 2, place a marker, then the rapport of 18 sts according to chart 1, place a marker, then on the next 20 sts knit the rapport according to chart 3 twice, place a marker, then on the next 12 sts knit the rapport according to chart 5 twice, place a marker, then on the next 12 sts knit the rapport according to chart 4 twice, place a marker, 1 purl, then knit 12 (16, 20, 24) sts in pattern "seed". 2nd setup row (WS): knit 12 (16, 20, 24) sts in pattern "seed", 1 knit, twice the rapport according to chart 5 on 12 sts, twice the rapport according to chart 4 on the next 12 sts, twice the rapport according to chart 3 on the next 20 sts, then the rapport according to chart 2 on 18 sts, then the rapport according to chart 1 on 18 sts, then knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in pattern "seed". 3rd and 4th setup rows: repeat the 1st and 2nd setup rows. Then knit all the charts from row 5, then according to the pattern and with the pattern stitches on each side until the length of the piece reaches 9.5 cm from the cast-on edge. Decrease row (RS): knit 1 st in pattern "seed", then 2 knit together through the back loop, then knit according to the pattern until the last 3 sts: 2 knit together, 1 st in pattern "seed". Repeat the decreases every 6th row for another 3 times = 119 (125, 131, 137) sts. Then knit straight according to the pattern for 9 rows. Note! Due to the smaller segment of the pattern "seed" on the sides of the front, short rows are not performed. Increase row (RS): knit 1 st in pattern "seed", 1 st increase, then knit according to the pattern until the last st: 1 st increase, 1 st in pattern "seed". Repeat the increases every 6th row for another 3 times = 127 (133, 139, 145) sts. Continue working according to the pattern. After 34 cm from the cast-on edge, begin to work the armhole as follows: close 4 (5, 5, 5) sts at the beginning of each of the next 4 rows, then decrease 1 st from both sides of each row another 4 (4, 6, 7) times = 103 (105, 107, 111) sts. Continue straight until the height of the armhole reaches 12.5 (14, 15, 16.5) cm.

Neckline. The next row: (RS): knit 40 (41, 42, 44) sts, turn the work and place the remaining 63 (64, 65, 67) sts on a stitch holder, then finish both sides separately. In the next row (WS) close 4 sts from the neckline side, then in the next knit row decrease 1 st from the neckline side. Repeat the last 2 rows once more. Then decrease by 1 st from the neckline side in the next 4 rows, and in each knit row decrease by 1 st from the neckline side 5 times = 21 (22, 23, 25) sts. Then knit straight until the height of the armhole is equal to the back armhole.

 Left shoulder. From the shoulder side close 1 time 7 (8, 7, 9) sts, then 2 times 7 (7, 8, 8) sts. From the front side attach the yarn from the neckline side and knit according to the pattern on the next 23 sts. Place these stitches on a holder, then close the next 4 sts (from the right side of the neckline) and finish the right side of the front symmetrically to the left side.

Sleeves. On straight needles cast on 74 (78, 82, 86) sts and knit 2 rows in pattern "seed". Setup row (RS): knit 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in pattern "seed", 1 purl, then knit starting from the 3rd setup row [6 sts according to chart 5, 2 purls] 4 times, then [6 sts according to chart 4, 2 purls] 4 times, 1 purl, finish with 4 (6, 8, 10) sts in pattern "seed". Maintaining the pattern stitch on both sides in pattern "seed" decrease 1 st every 4th row 3 times = 80 (84, 88, 92). Then knit straight until the length of the piece reaches 5 cm from the cast-on edge. Close for the sleeve cap from both sides 4 (5, 5, 5) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows, then 4 sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Then decrease 1 st from both sides in every row 4 (3, 3, 3) times = 56 (60, 64, 68) sts. Then decrease from both sides in each knit row by 1 st 15 (17, 19, 21) times. Close the remaining 14 sts.

Finishing. Perform shoulder seams. The neck is worked as a continuation of the patterns along the front neckline, just like the left shoulder of the back (see photo). Place markers for the stitches as follows: 1 marker in the center of the pattern of chart 2; 2nd marker in the center of the pattern of chart 1 (center of the neckline); 3rd marker at the end of 20 sts of chart 3; 4th marker on the left shoulder of the back at the beginning of 2 cables; 5th marker at the end of the back neckline. On circular needles, starting from the 1st marker cast on stitches and knit as follows: 16 sts along the left front edge of the neckline; then knit according to the pattern 23 sts of the front neckline from the holder, decreasing 1 last st; then 28 sts along the right front edge of the neckline; then 42 sts along the back neckline; then 12 sts along the left front edge of the neckline = 120 sts. Do not join the stitches in the round and knit straight back and forth as follows: The next row (WS): knit 4 sts in pattern "seed", 2 purls, [2 knits, 2 purls] twice, 4 knits, [4 purls, 2 knits] twice, [2 purls, 2 knits] 13 times, 4 purls, 8 knits, 4 purls, 8 knits, [2 purls, 2 knits] twice, 2 purls, finish with 4 sts in pattern "seed". Knit in this manner for another 8 rows following the patterns of chart 1, then according to chart 3 only from the 15th to the 18th row along the front neckline, then twice according to chart 4 along the back neckline. The next row (RS): knit 2 sts in pattern "seed", *slip the next 2 sts (for the cord) onto a safety pin or marker, then cast on 2 sts shifting the stitches and knit the cast-on 2 sts in pattern "seed" *, then knit according to the pattern until the last 4 sts: repeat between *_* for the second cord, knit the remaining 2 sts in pattern "seed". Then knit according to the pattern until the height of the collar reaches 6.5 cm. Close the stitches according to the pattern. Cord (knit 2). Return to the 2 sts for the first cord. 1st row: [from 1 st knit 2 knits: 1 through the back loop, 1 through the front loop] twice = 4 sts. Knit the cord to a length of 30.5 cm, then thread the yarn through all 4 sts and tighten, closing the stitch at the end. Set in the sleeves. Perform the side seams and sleeve seams.
