YOU WILL NEED:
250 g of pink yarn MONDIAL BEST ANGORA (75% merino wool, 25% angora, 156 m/50 g); 25 g of pink yarn MONDIAL PRESTIGIO (80% mohair, 20% nylon, 245 m/25 g)
NEEDLES straight and auxiliary needles No. 4
AS WELL AS a darning needle

To get a product one size larger/smaller than specified, you need to add/subtract 2 cm (5 sts.) in width and 2 cm (6 rows) in length.

Stockinette stitch: right side – knit st., wrong side – purl st.

Double ribbing: using contrasting yarn, cast on half the required stitches. Row 1: with working yarn, knit * 1 knit, 1 yarn over *, repeat from * to *. Row 2: * knit the yarn over, slip 1 st. as purl, without knitting, yarn in front *, repeat from * to *. Rows 3 and subsequent: * 1 knit, slip 1 st. as purl, yarn in front *, repeat from * to *; in the finished piece, unravel the contrasting yarn.

Purl ribbing (odd number of stitches). Row 1: knit st.; Rows 2 and 4: slip 1 st. (slip the stitch onto the right needle as purl, without knitting, yarn in front), * 1 purl st. (1 knit from the stitch of the previous row corresponding to the first stitch on the left needle), 1 knit *, repeat from * to *, 1 purl st., 1 knit; Row 3: slip 1 st., 1 knit, * 1 purl st., 1 knit *,
repeat from * to *, 1 knit; Row 5: repeat the pattern from Row 3.

Knitting density, stockinette stitch, yarn Best Angora: 24 sts. and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.<

Back/front: with contrasting yarn, cast on 90 sts. and for the placket with Best Angora yarn knit 8 rows of stockinette stitch, 1 row purl, 7 rows of stockinette stitch. Sew the placket, for this unravel the contrasting yarn, place the resulting 89 sts. on an auxiliary needle, fold the placket in half with the purl side in, position the auxiliary needle behind the left needle, and knit 1 st. from each needle together knit, the last stitch from the left needle knit. Continue knitting in stockinette stitch, after 4 cm from the placket, increase on both sides after the first 2 and before the last 2 stitches in every 22nd row 3 x 1 st. (on the right side knit 1 twisted knit from the cross yarn). After 29 cm from the placket for the armholes, bind off on both sides 1 x 2 sts., knit 1 row and set aside the remaining 92 sts.

Sleeves: with contrasting yarn, cast on 43 sts. and with Best Angora yarn knit the placket as for the back. Then knit in stockinette stitch, increasing on both sides after the first and before the last stitches 7 x (every 8th row 1 x 1 st., every 6th row 1 x 1 st.): on the right side knit 1 twisted knit from the cross yarn. After 33 cm from the placket for the armhole, bind off on both sides 1 x 2 sts., knit 1 row and set aside the remaining 67 sts.

Ruffles: with Prestige yarn doubled, cast on 53 sts. for a small ruffle, 131 sts. for a medium ruffle, and 205 sts. for a large ruffle; knit 20 rows of purl ribbing for each ruffle and bind off all stitches.

Assembly: with Best Angora yarn, pick up all the set aside stitches, distributing 16 decreases as follows: on the stitches of the left sleeve 2 knits, 1 double decrease to the right (slip 2 sts. onto an auxiliary needle, place the auxiliary needle behind the left needle and knit 2 times 1 st. from each needle knit), 56 knits, 1 double decrease to the left (slip 2 sts. onto an auxiliary needle, place the auxiliary needle in front of the left needle and knit 2 times 1 st. from each needle knit), 1 knit; on the front stitches 1 knit, 1 double decrease to the right, 82 knits, 1 double decrease to the left, 1 knit; on the stitches of the right sleeve 1 knit, 1 double decrease to the right, 57 knits, 1 double decrease to the left, knit; on the back stitches 1 knit, 1 double decrease to the right, 81 knits, 1 double decrease to the left, 2 knits. Then decrease on both sides of each raglan (i.e., after the first 2 and before the last 2 stitches and on both sides of the 2 sts. located between 2 pairs of consecutive decreases) in every 4th row 9 x 2 sts. (after the first 2 sts. and to the left of the middle 2 sts. of each raglan with 1 double decrease to the left, to the right of the middle 2 sts. of each raglan and before the last stitches with 1 double decrease to the left). After 12 cm, knit 8 rows (1.5 cm) of double ribbing and bind off the remaining 158 sts. Complete the remaining unsewn raglan seam, sleeve seams, and side seams. Sew each ruffle into a ring, joining the side seams, and attach the ruffles to the pullover as indicated in the diagram.
