Yarn: Belarusian half-wool yarn, 430 g used in 6 plies - size 52

According to the description I cast on 96 stitches, garter stitch back and forth, i.e., not in the round. This is done so that later, when knitting in the round starts, there will be no skew. Here is my little trick - I cast on stitches on a larger needle size - No. 5. Otherwise your cast-on edge will be tight. Mohair is very elastic and stretches in different directions, and the cast-on edge will tighten. Next we switch to circular knitting following the charts. Then we divide the knitting into sleeves, front and back. I put the sleeves on auxiliary needles and knitted the body in the round. After knitting a sufficient length, switch to ribbing. Mohair does not hold its shape at all, including the ribbing. I knitted 4-5 rows of hollow ribbing. It is also called double: 1 knit, 1 slipped with yarn in back of work. In case of knitting in the round - I knitted with turning rows. That is, knit a row, turn and knit from the wrong side. Then finished with ribbing: 1 knit, 1 purl.
