MODEL 1 — Pullover

SIZE: 36–38
YOU WILL NEED:
500 (550) g of yellow yarn; straight needles No. 4 and circular needles No. 3.5


Patterns:

  • Stockinette Stitch:
    Right side rows — knit stitches,
    wrong side rows — purl stitches.

  • Purl Stitch:
    Right side rows — purl stitches,
    wrong side rows — knit stitches.


WORK DESCRIPTION:

Main Pattern:
3 sts. in purl stitch, 3 sts. in stockinette stitch, repeat from *


Cable 6 sts. wide:
Rows 1 to 6 and 8: stockinette stitch.
Row 7: leave 3 sts. on a holder in front of work, knit 3, then knit the 3 sts. from the holder.
Repeat rows 1 to 8.


Pattern 39 sts. with right shift:
knit according to chart 1, repeat rows 1 to 38.

Pattern 39 sts. with left shift:
knit according to chart 2, repeat rows 1 to 38.
In wrong side rows, knit all stitches as they appear, yarn overs knit as knit stitches.

Center Pattern 96 sts. wide:
6 sts. cable, 39 sts. pattern with right shift, 6 sts. cable, 39 sts. pattern with left shift, 6 sts. cable.

Sleeve Pattern:
21 sts. of main pattern, 6 sts. cable, repeat from *


FRONT:

Cast on 92 sts. using the cross method + 2 edge sts. and knit as follows:
6 sts. cable, 15 sts. main pattern, 6 sts. cable, 39 sts. according to chart No. 1, 6 sts. cable, 39 sts. according to chart No. 2, 6 sts. cable, 15 sts. main pattern, 6 sts. cable.

After 32 cm from the cast on edge, for the neckline, bind off the middle 6 sts., and in every 2nd row 7×1 st., 2×3 sts., 2×1 st.

To round the edge, in every 8th row 3×1 st., 2×3 sts., 1×1 st.

For the neckline, bind off the middle 21 sts. and in every 2nd row 3×1 st.

To shape the shoulder line at a height of 60 cm from the cast on edge, bind off 2×12 sts. on both sides in every second row.


BACK:

Knit as for the front, but with a less deep neckline.
For this, after 57 cm from the cast on edge, bind off the middle 18 sts. and to round the neckline, in every second row 2×3 sts.


SLEEVES:

Cast on 40 sts. using the cross method + 2 edge sts.
At the same time, for the slopes, increase 1 st. on both sides in every 10th row.
At a height of 44 cm from the cast on edge, bind off 4 sts. on both sides, then bind off in every 2nd row:
1×2 sts., 2×1 st., 8×1 st., 2×2 sts., 1×4 sts.
At a height of 60 cm from the cast on edge, bind off the remaining stitches.


ASSEMBLY:

Sew the shoulder seams; for the neckline, cast on 90 sts. on circular needles and knit in stockinette stitch.
After 6 cm, bind off stitches as they appear.
Set in the sleeves, slightly easing along the armhole line.
Sew the side seams and sleeve seams.
