WORK EXECUTION

BACK

Cast on 89 (97) 105 twisted stitches (see general recommendations on p. 33) and knit 6 cm of ribbing for the border.

Then distribute the stitches as follows: 1 edge stitch, 0 (4) 8 stitches of patent pattern, 87 stitches of textured pattern, 0 (4) 8 stitches of patent pattern, 1 edge stitch.

After 56 cm = 210 rows from the cast-on row, bind off the stitches. The middle 43 stitches form the neckline, and the outer 23 (27) 31 stitches on each side relate to the shoulder line.

FRONT

Knit like the back, but after 49 cm = 184 rows from the cast-on row, bind off all stitches.

SLEEVES

Cast on 53 (57) 61 twisted stitches and knit 10 cm of ribbing for the border.

Then distribute the stitches as follows: 1 edge stitch, 6 (8) 10 stitches of patent pattern, 39 stitches of textured pattern, 6 (8) 10 stitches of patent pattern, 1 edge stitch.

At the same time, for the sleeves' slopes, add 11 x 1 stitch on both sides from the border in every 10th row (alternately in every 8th and 10th row, add 13 x 1 stitch) in every 8th row, add 15 x 1 stitch; the added stitches are to be knitted in patent pattern = 75 (83) 91 stitches.

After 35 cm = 132 rows from the border, bind off all stitches.

ASSEMBLY

Sew the shoulder seams.

For the collar, cast on 100 stitches on circular needles along the neckline and knit ribbing. After 8 cm from the beginning of the collar, bind off all stitches according to the pattern.

Sew in the sleeves, complete the side seams and the sleeve seams, leaving the lower 13 cm open for the side slits on the back, and the lower 6 cm on the front.
