Pattern with bobbles from a Japanese magazine

Rapport:

• By height: from row 1 to row 34

• By width: 20 stitches (inside the red frame)

Important:

• In wrong side rows all stitches are knitted according to the pattern, yarn overs — purl

• The element "bobbles" is formed gradually over several rows, instructions — to the right of the diagram

Legend (diagram on the right):

• Legend:

  • — edge stitch

  • | — knit stitch

  • - — purl stitch

  • O — yarn over

  • ∧ — knit two together through the front loop (leaning to the right)

  • λ — knit two together through the back loop (leaning to the left)

  • ? — bobble (see description below)

  • ¥ — knit two together purlwise leaning to the right

  • V — knit 3 stitches together

  • U — knit 3 stitches together using a double decrease:
    slip 1 stitch as knit, knit 2 stitches, and pull through the slipped stitch

  • Y — bobble: from one stitch make 3 (knit, purl, knit), turn, knit 3 purls, turn, knit 3 together

  • X — knit 3 stitches together purlwise

  • Z — slip 1 stitch without knitting, working yarn in front of work
