You will need: 125 (150) 175 g of graphite gray (color 94), 125 (150) 175 g of mustard (color 72) and 125 (150) 175 g of raspberry (color 70) yarn Lana Grossa SILKHAIR (70% mohair, 30% silk, 210 m/25 g); straight needles No. 6, No. 6.5 and No. 7; circular needles No. 6, 40 cm long.

Pattern for Edging A: alternately 6 knit, 4 purl; in purl rows, knit stitches according to the pattern.

Pattern for Edging B: alternately 2 knit, 2 purl.

Cable Pattern: number of stitches multiple of 12 + 2 edge stitches. Knit according to the chart, which shows knit and purl rows. Start with stitches before the repeat. Repeat 12 stitches of the repeat between arrows, finishing with stitches after the repeat. Work rows 1-15 once, then repeat rows 4-15.

Main Pattern: stockinette stitch (knit row — knit stitches, purl row — purl stitches).

Continue knitting with needles No. 7 in the cable pattern. After increases in the 1st row, there will be 110 (122) 134 stitches on the needle. After 37 cm from the starting row, bind off 1 x 3 stitches for armholes on both sides and in every 2nd row 1 x 3 stitches, 2 x 2 stitches, and 2 x 1 stitch = 86 (98) 110 stitches.

After 56.5 (58.5) 60.5 cm from the starting row, bind off the middle 34 stitches for the neckline and finish both sides separately. For rounding, bind off 2 x 2 stitches from the inner edge in every 2nd row. After 57.5 (59.5) 61.5 cm from the starting row, bind off 1 x 8 (10) 12 stitches from the outer edge for the shoulder slope and in every 2nd row 2 x 7 (9) 11 stitches.

Front: knit as for the back, but for the neckline bind off the middle 28 stitches after 54 (56) 58 cm from the starting row and finish both sides separately. For rounding, bind off 1 x 3 stitches from the inner edge in every 2nd row, 1 x 2 stitches and 2 x 1 stitch.

Sleeves: on needles No. 6, cast on 42 (46) 50 stitches with three strands held together (= 1 strand of each type of yarn) and knit for the edging 14 cm = 23 rows in pattern for Edging B, starting in the 1st row = purl row after the edge stitch with 1 purl, 2 knit, 2 purl and finish symmetrically.

Continue knitting with needles No. 6.5 in main pattern. For shaping, increase 1 stitch on both sides 1 x 1 stitch in the 9th (7th) 7th row from the edging, then 1 x 1 stitch in the next 8th row and 6 x 1 stitch in every 6th row (6 x 1 stitch in every 6th row and 2 x 1 stitch in every 4th row) 1 x 1 stitch in the next 6th row and 9 x 1 stitch in every 4th row = 58 (64) 72 stitches.

After 48.5 (46.5) 44.5 cm from the starting row, bind off 1 x 3 stitches for the armhole on both sides and in every 2nd row 1 x 2 stitches, 8 x 1 stitch, 1 x 2 stitches, and 1 x 3 stitches = 22 (28) 36 stitches. After 62.5 (60.5) 58.5 cm from the starting row, bind off the remaining 22 (28) 36 stitches.

Assembly: sew the shoulder seams. On circular needles No. 6, cast on 84 stitches with three strands held together (= 1 strand of each type of yarn) and knit 23 cm in pattern for Edging B. Bind off the stitches. Set in the sleeves. Sew the sleeve seams and side seams.
