PULLOVER RAGLAN WITH A LARGE DIAGONAL IN THE MIDDLE

Size: 34-36, 38-40 and 42-44.

If only one value is specified, it applies to all 3 sizes.

Length of the pullover from the center back: approximately 47 (49) ((51)) cm + 6 cm neckband.

You will need:

750 (800) ((900)) g of yarn type LINIE 20 CORA from ONLINE in cement color number 541 (60% pure wool, 40% polyacrylic, 85 m/50 g), straight and circular needles size 4.5, approximately 40-50 cm long.

Ribbing: alternate 1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch.

Half-patent stitch pattern: an odd number of stitches.

Knit all purl rows as knit stitches.

All knit rows: edge stitch, * 1 purl stitch, 1 patent stitch (insert needle one row below and knit as knit stitch — the stitch from the previous row will unravel and form a patent stitch), repeat from *, finish with 1 purl stitch, edge.



Cable stripe: number of stitches is a multiple of 18 stitches.

In purl rows, knit all stitches as purl stitches.

Repeat from row 1 to row 24 in height.

Special decrease of 1 stitch:

At the beginning of the row after the edge stitch, knit 2 stitches together as knit (i.e., slip 1 stitch as knit, knit 1 and pull it through the slipped stitch), at the end of the row knit to the last 3 stitches, knit 2 stitches together as knit, edge.

In purl rows, knit these stitches as purl stitches.

Knitting density:

half-patent stitch pattern: 18 stitches and 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

cable stripe: 36 stitches = 13 cm.

Back:

Cast on 107 (115) ((123)) stitches with a double cross method and knit 1 purl row as purl stitches.

In the next knit row after the edge stitch, start with 1 purl stitch.

After 8 cm of ribbing from the knit row, distribute the stitches as follows: edge stitch, 35 (39) ((43)) knit stitches, 17 purl stitches, knit 1 purl twisted stitch from the transverse thread, 18 purl stitches, 35 (39) ((43)) knit stitches, edge stitch = 108 (116) ((124)) stitches.

In the next knit row, knit as follows: edge stitch, 35 (39) ((43)) stitches of half-patent stitch pattern (= start and finish with a purl stitch), 2 x repeat of cable stripe (= 36 stitches), 35 (39) ((43)) stitches of half-patent stitch pattern (= start and finish with a purl stitch), edge stitch.

For hip shaping on both sides after and before the edge stitch, knit 12 x 2 stitches together as purl in every 4th row = 84 (92) ((100)) stitches.

For raglan shaping, after 30 cm total length, close 1 x 4 (6) ((8)) stitches on both sides = 76 (80) ((84)) stitches, then decrease 15 x (17 x) ((19 x)) 1 stitch using the special decrease in every 4th row and set aside the remaining 46 stitches.

Front: knit as the back.

Sleeve:

Cast on 35 (37) ((39)) stitches with a double cross method and knit 1 purl row as purl stitches.

In the next knit row after the edge stitch, start with 1 purl stitch.

After 8 cm of ribbing in the last knit row above the purl stitches, constantly knit 3 stitches (= 1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch) = 69 (73) ((77)) stitches.

From the next purl row, start the half-patent stitch pattern.

To widen the sleeve on both sides after and before the edge stitch, add 6 x 1 stitch in every 4th row = 83 (87) ((91)) stitches, knit 5 cm without increases, then on both sides after and before the edge stitch, in every 4th row, knit 10 x (8x) ((6x)) 2 stitches together as purl = 61 (69) ((77)) stitches.

For raglan shaping after 45 (43) ((41)) cm total length, close 1 x 4 (6) ((8)) stitches on both sides, then in every 4th row, decrease 15 x (17 x) ((19 x)) 1 stitch using the special decrease and set aside the remaining 23 stitches.

Assembly:

Transfer all stitches one after another to circular needles and knit ribbing, in the 1st round knit edge stitches together as purl, knit 2 stitches together as knit over 36 stitches of the cable stripe = 132 stitches.

After 6 cm of ribbing, close stitches with a double thread using the cross method.

Sew the raglan seams, side seams, and sleeve seams.
