You will need yarn (75% natural wool, 25% polyamide; 125 m/50 g) - 450 g of yellow; long and short circular needles #4; for the sleeves, 1 set of double-pointed needles #4.
Patterns
Temporary cast on: use a contrasting color yarn of sufficient length. * 1 stitch of working yarn under the contrasting color yarn, then 1 stitch of working yarn over the contrasting color yarn, repeat from * until the required number of stitches is obtained.
Pattern 1: stockinette stitch = circular rows; only knit stitches. Rows in the forward and reverse direction: knit rows - knit stitches, purl rows - purl stitches.
Pattern 2: lace pattern (number of stitches at the beginning is a multiple of 25) = knit according to the chart. It shows the odd circular rows.
In even circular rows, knit stitches according to the pattern, knit twisted knit stitches as twisted knit stitches, yarn overs as knit stitches. Repeat the rapport continuously. Perform rows 1-60 once.
Due to the decreases caused by the pattern, the number of stitches after 60 circular rows is a multiple of 11.
Pattern 3: ribbing = circular rows (even number of stitches). Alternately 1 purl, 1 twisted knit.
Placket of hollow cord (for 3 stitches): cast on 3 stitches and place them at the end of the left circular needle before the remaining stitches. Then * knit 2 stitches, knit 2 stitches together as twisted knit (* the last stitch of the placket and the 1st remaining stitch), then return the stitches back to the end of the left needle, tightening the thread on the wrong side of the work, repeat from * until all remaining stitches are used. Then join the last 3 stitches with the 3 starting stitches using a knitted seam.
Knitting density:
pattern 2 = 21 st. x 31 circular rows = 10x10 cm; pattern 1 = 21 st. x 32.5 circular rows = 10 x 10 cm; placket of hollow cord for 3 st. = width 1 cm.
Knitting description
Attention: first knit the circular yoke from the bottom up using the temporary cast on. The lower parts are knit from the circular yoke from the top down.
Arrows on the pattern = direction of knitting. For technical reasons, ½ of the circular yoke is shown separately on the pattern. Increases inside the back are depicted as a slope.
Circular yoke: cast on 250 stitches on long circular needles using a temporary cast on with contrasting color yarn, join the work in a ring and first knit 2 circular rows with pattern 1.
Attention: for subsequent distribution, it is recommended to mark the stitches of the starting row as follows: the first 77 st. of the circular row form the back, the next 48 st. - the left sleeve, the next 77 st. – the front and the last 48 st. of the circular row - the right sleeve. Continue working with pattern 2.
If necessary, switch to shorter circular needles. After 20 cm = 62 circular rows from the beginning of knitting the circular yoke (= 2 circular rows with pattern 1 and 60 circular rows with pattern 2), there will be 110 st. on the needles.
For the neck placket, continue working with pattern 3. In the 1st circular row, decrease 10 st. as follows: slip the last stitch of the circular row back onto the left needle and knit it together with the 1st stitch of the 1st rapport as a purl, then continuously knit alternately 1 twisted knit, 1 purl and constantly knit the last stitch of each rapport of pattern 2 with the 1st stitch of the next rapport of pattern 2 together as a purl = 100 st.
With a placket width of 2.5 cm, leave the stitches and bind off using the placket of hollow cord for 3 stitches.
Left sleeve:
cast on 10 stitches on short circular needles, then cast on the corresponding marked 48 stitches from the temporary cast on of the circular yoke onto the needles, removing the contrasting color yarn from these stitches and then cast on another 10 stitches = 68 st. Join the work in a ring and knit with pattern 1.
Attention - the midpoint between the newly cast on 10 stitches will form the lower line of the sleeve.
After 37 cm = 120 rows from the circular yoke in the next circular row, evenly distribute and knit 28 x 2 stitches together as knit and switch to double-pointed needles = 40 st. (= 10 st. on each needle).
Then for the sleeve placket knit 8 cm with pattern 3. Then leave the stitches and bind off using the placket of hollow cord for 3 stitches.
Right sleeve:
knit similarly on the corresponding marked stitches of the starting row of the circular yoke.
Back and front:
starting at the left sleeve line, cast on 10 stitches from the newly cast on stitches of the sleeve onto long circular needles. Cast on the 77 corresponding marked stitches from the temporary cast on of the circular yoke onto the needles, removing the contrasting color yarn, cast on 20 stitches from the newly cast on stitches of the right sleeve. Cast on 77 stitches from the temporary cast on of the circular yoke onto the needles and cast on 10 stitches from the newly cast on stitches of the left sleeve = 194 st.
Attention: the beginning of the circular row is located on the lower line of the left sleeve and corresponds to the left side line of the garment. The first 97 st. form the back, the remaining 97 st. - the front.
It is recommended to mark the side lines for clarity.
Continue working with pattern 1 in circular rows. After 7.5 cm = 24 circular rows from the circular yoke, increase for the side slope of the back 1 x 9 st. as follows: after the 1st stitch from the beginning of the circular row, knit 1 twisted knit from the transverse yarn, then knit through 12 stitches 8 x 1 twisted knit from the transverse yarn = 106 st. for the back and 97 st. for the front, or a total of 203 st.
Repeat this increase 2 more times in every 24th row, constantly knitting 1 stitch more between the knitted stitches so that the increases are stacked on top of each other = 124 st. for the back and 97 st. for the front, or a total of 221 st.
After 31.5 cm = 102 circular rows from the circular yoke, leave the front stitches and continue working on 124 stitches of the back with short rows of pattern 1 as follows: knit 119 stitches, then turn the work with 1 yarn over, knit 114 stitches, then turn the work with 1 yarn over. knit 109 stitches, then turn the work with 1 yarn over. knit 104 stitches, then turn the work with 1 yarn over.
Continue working similarly, i.e., at the end of each knit and purl row, knit 5 stitches less. After 37 cm = 120 rows from the circular yoke (measure at the middle of the back) there will be 34 st. left for the back.
Then on all 221 st. (= stitches of the front and back) knit 1 circular row knit, while always knitting the turning yarn overs together with the adjacent remaining stitches as knit to avoid holes.
Then leave the stitches and bind off using the placket of hollow cord for 3 stitches.
