Voluminous mohair sweaterhttp://klubok.work/1/3/8875/Klubok

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL).
The photo shows size S.

Final measurements:
Chest circumference: 86 (94, 102, 110, 118) cm.
Body length from shoulder: 52 (54, 56, 58, 62) cm.
Sleeve length to cuff: 44 (45, 46, 45, 44) cm.

Materials:

  • 10 (11, 12, 12, 13) skeins of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk; 225 m/25 g) color Trenchcoat.

  • Circular needles 3.5 mm, 4.5 mm, and 5.5 mm.

  • Double-pointed needles 3.5 mm and 5.5 mm.

  • Stitch markers.

  • Stitch holders (SH).

Knitting density:
14 st. x 23 rows = 10x10 cm, main pattern, with 5.5 mm needles.

Special abbreviations:
RS – right side.
WS – wrong side.
PM – place marker on needle.
SM – slip marker from left needle to right.
M1K – make 1 knit st. from the strand, knitting through the back loop.

M1P – make 1 purl st. from the strand, knitting through the back loop.
DP – double stitch in German short rows: turn work, slip st., pull yarn tightly back over the needle to create a double stitch.
DP-knit – knit both legs of the double stitch together.
DP-purl – purl both legs of the double stitch together.

Note:
The sweater is knitted in the round, top down, with yarn held triple.

First, knit a double collar, then knit the yoke with increases for the raglans, while simultaneously shaping the neck rise at the back using German short rows. The body and sleeves are separated and knitted in the round. The cuffs and hems are knitted in ribbing.

The pattern "Waffles" shows the pattern repeat and increases for the raglans. The pattern is easy to memorize and repeated the necessary number of times, depending on the size of the sweater. As the number of stitches increases, new pattern repeats are gradually added throughout the yoke.
