Brief information on knitting the item: the front and back are knitted in the round from bottom to top, then the knitting is divided into 2 parts.

After that, the front and back are knitted in rows (separately), and then you need to knit the left and right shelves separately.

The sleeves are knitted in the round, the shoulders are sewn together. The dimensions of the item after washing (yarn and knitting according to the description):

1 column - size

2 column - width of the item 

3 column - length of the item

4 column - height of the armhole

5 column - length of the short sleeve

Attention!

Depending on the yarn, the length and width of the item may differ. Be sure to knit and wash a sample before starting to knit.

Materials: Yarn according to the description: Gazzal Baby Cotton XL (105 m. in 50 gr.) in 1 thread.

Consumption for size 42/44 - 300 gr.;

46 - 350 gr,

48/50 – 450-500 gr. (short sleeve).

Attention! Yarn consumption depends on the length of the item, sleeve length, and yarn meterage. Alternatives: Summer articles: YarnArt Creative, YarnArt Jeans Plus, Fibra Natura Cottonwood. Winter articles: Gazzal Baby Wool XL, Alize Merino Royal, BBB Full, Filitaly Lab Belsaida Maxi. It is possible to use other yarn (50 gr.90-110 m., 100 gr.200 m. in 1 thread) provided that the sample matches the description.

Circular needles 80 /100/120 cm. – 4 mm. (1 size smaller than needles for the main fabric).

Circular needles 80 /100/120 cm. -5 mm. (or needles according to your gauge).

Circular needles 40 cm – 5 mm. (or needles according to your gauge) for comfortable knitting of the sleeves.

Knitting markers, additional needles or threads, needle, scissors.

Knitting gauge: 10 cm x 10 cm = 17 stitches x 24 rows of stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles (yarn according to the description).

Attention!

The knitting gauge must match the specified one, so before starting work, be sure to knit and wash a sample. Then count how many stitches are in 10 cm. If there are more than 17 stitches, switch to thicker needles; if less than 17 stitches, switch to thinner ones.

Formation of armholes.

After reaching the necessary length to the armholes, divide the knitting into 2 equal parts. Transfer 81 (88) 101 stitches of the back to an additional needle or thread, continue knitting the front part of the item according to the patterns.

Front part

For all sizes: continue knitting from the 21st row to the 32nd row, then knit the 1st and 2nd rows according to the patterns. After the front part of the item is knitted, continue knitting, forming the left and right shelves.

Knitting the neckline:

Knitting the sleeves (short version).

For sizes 42/44 and 46:

Attach the working thread (around the armpit), pick up 63 stitches on 5 mm needles.

1 row: M, 2 purls, 1 repeat (19 stitches), 1 purl, 1 repeat (19 stitches), 1 purl, 1 repeat (19 stitches), 2 purls.

2 row and subsequent rows knit according to the patterns up to row 26. Switch to 3.5 or 4 mm needles, knit in the "Rib 1x1" pattern for 5 rows. Close the stitches.

For size 48/50:

Attach the working thread (around the armpit), pick up 81 stitches on 5 mm needles.
