Sweater with lace raglan lines

Sweater with lace raglan lineshttp://klubok.work/1/3/9181/Klubok

YarnArt STYLE yarn in 50g - 185m.

Composition: 67% cotton, 33% viscose. Color No. 671.

I knitted with 2.5mm needles, in one strand. Knitting with this yarn is not easy, as it is very thin, slippery, and tends to split while knitting.

It is better to knit with wooden needles..

DESCRIPTION.

I knitted a sweater in size 46-48.

On a spare thread, I cast on 140 stitches + 1 stitch to join in the round. I knitted two rows of knit stitches and then marked the raglan lines. They are lacy and consist of 25 stitches.

I divided them as follows: I allocated 25 stitches for the raglan lines, and the remaining stitches between the raglans were distributed with 10 stitches each.

Then I continued knitting in the round, following the pattern and adding stitches on the raglan lines on each side of the lace pattern. Increases were made from the yarn over every other odd row, and when I knitted 18 cm, I made increases every second row.

I knitted to a height of 23 cm. Then I transferred the sleeve stitches to a spare thread and knitted an Asian yoke. I knitted 12 short rows on the back. After the yoke, I added 10 stitches on each side for the underarm and then joined the front and back stitches in the round and continued knitting.

This is not a tutorial, and the sequence of increases depends on each individual's figure.

I picked up the stitches for the yoke and added stitches for the underarm, resulting in 20 stitches on each side between the patterns.

And so I continued knitting the lace pattern until the end of the garment.

I knitted another 35 cm from the armholes and knitted the edge of the garment with a seed stitch, as the ribbing with this yarn does not look very nice and I did not like it.

After finishing the body, I continued to knit the sleeves.

The sleeves are short, only 4 cm. I knitted them in the same seed stitch pattern.

For the neckline, I used I-CORD.

I unraveled the spare thread and knitted in the round with an I-cord of three stitches.

Here are two lace patterns:

The main pattern consists of 13 stitches with 2 purl stitches on both sides and a pattern of 3 stitches
on both sides of the main pattern.

There are three patterns in the chart.

I did not use the middle pattern in the chart.

The yarn is thin, flexible, flowing, and looks beautiful in garments. It is not see-through, which is very important..

The neckline can be knitted wider if desired, by casting on more stitches.

Wonderful yarn! But it is difficult to work with, and as a result, the garments turn out thin and flexible, flowing..

Sweater parameters:

Width - 52 cm.

Height - 60 cm.

Sleeve length at the top - 25 cm.

Sleeve length at the underarm - 4 cm.

Length of raglan line - 28 cm.

At the neckline - 21 cm.

Weight of the garment - 246 grams.

You can knit for any size by simply making the raglan lines longer and trying it on at each stage of knitting.
