A sweater with a chic and simple pattern.

You will need: yarn 500 g, straight needles No. 4 and circular No. 3.5

Description of knitting

Back:

Cast on 90 (100) sts and knit in 2x2 rib for 4 cm in height. In the last purl row, increase 21 (22) sts.

Switch to the pattern:

Size 42-44: 1 edge stitch, 3 sts according to the chart before the repeat (1 knit, 1 purl, 1 knit), 6 repeats of 17 sts, 1 purl, 3 sts according to the chart before the repeat (1 knit, 1 purl, 1 knit), 1 edge stitch = 111 sts.

Size 46-48: 1 edge stitch, 7 repeats of 17 sts, 1 purl stitch, 1 edge stitch = 122 sts.

At a height of 35 cm from the placket = 94 rows, bind off on both sides for the armhole in every second row 5, 3, 2 sts = 91 (102) sts.

After 53 cm from the start of knitting = 142 rows, bind off the middle 39 (40) sts for the neckline and continue separately, binding off at the edges of the neckline every 2nd row 1x6 and 1x3 sts.

After 56 cm = 152 rows from the start of knitting, bind off the remaining 17 (22) sts of each shoulder.

Front: knit as the back, but after 50 cm from the start of knitting = 135 rows bind off the middle 31 (32) sts for the neckline and continue separately, binding off at the edges of the neckline every 2nd row 1x5, 2x3, 1x2 sts.

Sleeves:

Cast on 48 sts and knit in 2x2 rib for 5 cm in height. In the last purl row, evenly increase 6 sts = 54 sts.

Switch to pattern and knit: 1 edge stitch, 3 repeats of 17 sts, 1 purl, 1 edge stitch.= 54 sts.

To shape the sleeve cap, make even increases on the right and left every 10th row 11x1 st (every 8th row 13x1 st) = 76 (80) sts.

After 42 cm = 110 rows from the placket, begin shaping the sleeve cap according to the pattern at actual size.

After 56 cm = 151 rows from the placket, bind off the remaining sleeve stitches.

Assembly: sew shoulder seams.
On circular needles, pick up stitches along the neckline and knit the ribbed collar 2x2 in height for 3 cm.

Sew in the sleeves, finish side seams and sleeve seams.
