You will need:
Yarn: A — white, B — blue, C — black, D — olive, E — yellow;
4 double-pointed needles, batting (fiber filling),
2 black beads, wire, small pliers.
IMPORTANT
- where it says — turn in the middle of the row, make this turn by wrapping the stitches to avoid holes.
- s2k — knit two stitches together, knit the next stitch, slip the two previous stitches over it (decrease 2 stitches).
- M1 — make one stitch from the yarn over.
HEAD
Using two needles and yarn A, cast on 2 stitches.
Row 1 (RS): 1 knit, M1. 1 knit — 3 stitches
Row 2: purl.
Row 3: 1 knit. (M1. 1 knit) twice — 5 stitches.
Continue knitting with yarn B.
Row 4 and purl rows: purl.
Row 5: 1 knit, (M1. 1 knit) 4 times — 9 stitches
Row 7: 1 knit, M1, 7 knits, M1, 1 knit — 11 stitches
Row 9: 9 knits, turn. 7 purls, turn. 6 knits, turn. 5 purls, turn, knit to the end of the row.
Row 11: 1 knit, 2 knits together. 5 knits, 2 knits together with a left slant, 1 knit — 9 stitches.
Row 13: 1 knit, 2 knits together. s2k, 2 knits together with a left slant. 1 knit — 5 stitches.
Row 14: purl Cut yarn B
Row 15: from the front, starting from the cast-on row,
with the first needle and yarn A pick up from the ends of the rows knitted with yarn A,
and knit 3 purl stitches and 9 stitches from the ends of the rows knitted with yarn B. with the second needle knit (2 knits together. 1 knit, 2 knits together with a left slant) on 5 stitches
row 14, with the third needle - pick up and knit 9 stitches from the ends of the rows knitted with yarn B and 3 stitches from the ends of the rows knitted with yarn A. 27 stitches.
Now turn and knit the rows with 4 needles.
Row 1 (WS): purl. cut A.
Row 2: with yarn C — knit. cut C
Row 3: slip the first 2 stitches onto a strand of leftover yarn.
Join A and knit the next 9 stitches purl,
with yarn C — 5 purls, with yarn A — 9 purls, slip the last 2 stitches onto a strand of leftover yarn, (use separate balls of yarn).
Turn and continue knitting on 23 stitches.
Cross the yarn at each color change in the next 6 rows
Row 4: A — 9 knits, B — 1 knit, M1. 3 knits, M1. 1 knit, A — 9 knits. 25 stitches
Row 5: purl: A-9, C-7, A-9
Row 6: knit: A -9, C — 7, A — 9

BACK
Row 10: 8 knits, M1, (3 knits, M1) 3 times, 8 knits. 29 stitches
Row 11 and purl rows: purl.
Row 12: knit.
Row 14: (2 knits together) twice. 7 knits, (M1. 7 knits) twice, (2 knits together with a left slant) twice, 27 stitches
Row 16: (2 knits together) twice, 6 knits, M1, 7 knits, M1, 6 knits, (2 knits together with a left slant) twice, 25 stitches.
Row 18: (2 knits together) twice. 5 knits, M1, 7 knits, M1, 5 knits. (2 knits together with a left slant) twice 23 stitches.
Continue decreasing and increasing on RS in the same spirit. Decrease by 1 stitch (the decrease places are marked in bold in the previous two rows).
In row 26 you will have 15 stitches.

Row 2: 1 knit, (1 purl, 1 knit) 3 times.
Repeat these two rows 3 times, then knit one more row.
Bind off stitches from the front.
FRONT
From the front place the remaining 4 stitches from the head onto a needle, join yarn C.
Row 1: (2 knits together) twice — 2 stitches.
Row 2 and purl rows: purl.
Row 3: 1 knit, M1, 1 knit — 3 stitches.
Row 5: 1 knit, (M1. 1 knit) twice — 5 stitches
Row 7: 1 knit, M1, 3 knits, M1, 1 knit, — 7 stitches.
Cut C and continue with yarn E.
Starting with a purl row, knit 3 rows in stockinette stitch.
Row 11: 1 knit, (M1. 1 knit) 6 times 13 stitches.
Row 13: 1 knit, M1. knit to the last stitch, M1. 1 knit 15 stitches.
Row 15: as row 13.

Cut E and continue with yarn B
Tail
Same as the tail on the back from *
WINGS
From the front using yarn D from the first decrease on the left side pick up and knit 19 stitches.
Switch to yarn B.
Knit Row 1: purl.
Row 2 (RS): 2 knits, (1 purl, 1 knit) 7 times, turn, in ribbing pattern 13 stitches turn, in ribbing pattern 11 stitches, turn, in ribbing pattern 9 stitches, turn, knit in ribbing to the end of the row.
Bind off stitches.
Knit the second wing in the same way.
BEAK
With yarn C, cast on 5 stitches.
Knit 1 row as follows: 1 knit, s2k, 1 knit.
Pull the remaining 3 stitches tight with the yarn.
ASSEMBLY:
Secure the ends of the threads on the back of the head.
From the front, join the ends of the rows knitted with yarn C to the ends of the rows knitted with yarn A and remove yarn A from the cast-on edge.
Stuff the head, sew the beak to the cast-on row, which should be joined to form a circle.
Sew the back and front parts together at the sides, gradually stuffing the body.
Sew on the bead eyes.
Cut a piece of wire about 45 cm long and bend it with pliers.
Wrap the legs with yarn E, the claws with yarn C.
