STYLISH SCARF

For the scarf you will need: mohair (400m/100g) 1.5 skeins - 2 depending on how long you want to knit the scarf. Needles 6mm + an additional needle or stitch holder.

Description of knitting the scarf with cables made of mohair.

Cast on 62 stitches. Knit the 1st, 3rd... and all odd rows with purl stitches. Knit the 2nd, 4th... and all even rows with knit stitches. Knit 11 rows in stockinette stitch.

12th row (right side) 1 edge, place 20 sts on an additional needle (stitch holder) and hold at the back, 20 knit, knit 20 sts from the stitch holder, the rest of the stitches knit.

24th row (right side) – 1 edge, 20 knit, place 20 sts on an additional needle – hold in front, 20 knit, knit 20 from the auxiliary needle. 1 edge stitch.

Then repeat from the 1st row of knitting, knit to the desired length of the scarf.
