Final dimensions: 24 cm wide and 24 cm high

Materials used:
- 1 skein of medium thickness yarn
100 g per 200 m
(preferably at least 50% wool)
- circular needles 4 mm and 5 mm, 60 cm long
- marker
- cable needle

Cast on 121 sts loosely on 4 mm circular needles.
Row 1: slip 1 st, K1, *K2, P2, repeat from * to 3 sts before marker, P1, K2tog, slip marker
Row 2: *K2, P2, repeat from * to end of row, slip marker
Repeat row 2 for another 6 times, a total of 8 rows of ribbing.
Change to 5 mm circular needles.
Row 9: *P3, K4, P3, K4, P2, K2, P2, K4, repeat from * to end of row, slip marker
Row 10 and all even rows knit as the previous row (knit stitches as knit,
purl stitches as purl, do not twist)
Row 11: *P3, C4L, P3, C4L, P2, K2, P2, C4R, repeat from * to end of row, slip marker
Row 13: *P3, K4, P3, K2, C4L, K2, C4R, K2, repeat from * to end of row, slip marker
Row 15: *P3, K4, P3, K4, P1, C2Lp, C2Rp, P1, K4, repeat from * to end of row, slip marker
Row 17: knit as row 9
Row 19: *P3, C4L, P3, K4, P2, K2, P2, K4, repeat from * to end of row, slip marker
Row 21: knit as row 9
Row 23: knit as row 9
Repeat rows 9-24 one more time.
Repeat rows 9-20.
Change to 4 mm circular needles.
Repeat row 2 six times, a total of 8 rows of ribbing.
Bind off stitches loosely

Cut the yarn, weave in ends, and block the piece.
