Shawl

The shawl consists of two identical parts: the front and the back.

Back:

Knit in 6 stages (see pattern #1):

1. Cast on 7 stitches + 2 edge stitches = 9 stitches and knit 26 rows according to pattern #1.

2. Knit 24 rows according to pattern #2 as follows: 3 edge stitches (1 edge stitch + 2 knit stitches) + right side + repeat + left side + 1 center stitch + right side + repeat + left side + 3 edge stitches (2 knit stitches + 1 edge).

3. Knit 24 rows according to pattern #2 as follows: 3 edge stitches + 1 knit stitch + repeat + repeat + left side + 1 center stitch + right side + repeat + repeat + 2 knit stitches + 3 edge stitches (2 knit stitches + 1 edge).

4. Knit 24 rows according to pattern #3 as follows: 3 edge stitches + 1 knit stitch + repeat side + repeat + repeat + left side + 1 center stitch + right side (pattern #2) + repeat + repeat + 1 knit stitch + repeat side (in mirror image) + 1 knit stitch + 3 edge stitches (2 knit stitches + 1 edge).

5. Knit 24 rows according to pattern #2 as follows: 3 edge stitches + 1 knit stitch + repeat + repeat + repeat + left side + 1 center stitch + right side + repeat + repeat + repeat + 2 knit stitches + 3 edge stitches (2 knit stitches + 1 edge).

6. Knit 24 rows according to pattern #3 as follows: 3 edge stitches + 1 knit stitch + repeat side + repeat + repeat + repeat + left side + 1 center stitch + right side (pattern #2) + repeat + repeat + repeat + 1 knit stitch + repeat side (in mirror image) + 1 knit stitch + 3 edge stitches (2 knit stitches + 1 edge).

Finally, close all stitches in one row.

Similarly, execute the part front.

Assembly of parts and finishing of the shawl:

Sew the side seams, leaving 17 cm open for the arms (see pattern #2).

All edges should be finished with a crab stitch (single crochet from left to right).
