Master class on knitting a scarf.

1. Cast on 3 stitches. Turn and on the purl row knit like this: purl, yarn over, purl, yarn over, knit.

From now on, we always slip the first stitch (yarn in front), knit the last stitch.
2. Knit the leaf according to this pattern:

You should get a leaf like this.

NOTE. For those who have just started knitting.
The knit stitch from the previous row.

Three stitches together (swap the 1st and 2nd stitches. The second should become the first).

3. Slip the leaf off the needle and place the remaining stitch on the hook. Knit one chain stitch to lift.

Turn the leaf to the purl side and begin to knit a chain for lifting.
Insert the hook into the transverse stitch, pulling the chain stitch through without knitting, and pull it through the stitch on the hook.

4. Count 9 stitches from the base of the leaf along the edge, insert the hook into the 9th stitch and pull it through the stitch on the hook.

5. Cast on 9 stitches from the side braid and transfer to the needle. You can cast on directly with the needle.

6. Then knit the corner according to this pattern. The first row is already on the needles. We start from the second row.

7. When there are 3 stitches left on the needle, we start knitting the next leaf like this:
a) edge stitch (slip), yarn over, knit, yarn over, knit (edge).
b) turn and on the purl side, knit purlwise, except for the edge stitches (slip the first, knit the last).

Knit like this: edge, knit, yarn over, knit from the previous row, yarn over, knit, slip the last stitch from the left needle
to the right without knitting. With the left needle, pick up the second stitch (skip the first) on the triangle, transfer the slipped stitch from the right needle to the left
and knit them together. Then knit the purl row. And so on until row 13 according to the pattern.

Complete the leaf and start from point 3. That's all for now. Knit 13 — 15 leaves like this. In the last one, do not knit the triangle!

9. After finishing the leaves (I have 15), in the last leaf knit a chain to the base on the purl side.

10. Then along the entire length of the scarf, knit one row of single crochet. Not as usual: insert the hook from the back, not the front. Why?
To create an effect as if we are knitting on the front side.

11. After completing the row, cast on 2 stitches and knit a small leaf.

12. After knitting the small leaf, we begin to knit the edge (final part).
From the purl side, make a chain to the base of the leaf (only make the chain from the bottom) and cast on 3 more stitches. In total, we have 4 stitches on the needle.

13. We start knitting the edge according to this pattern.

Some details. In every knit row, we knit the last (edge) stitch together with the stitch that we will make from the braid, knitted
by us with a hook along the entire length of the scarf.

14. At the end of the edge, knit a small leaf, as in point 11.
