Perform blocking. Determine the gauge. Calculate the number of stitches using the formula: The number of stitches in 1 cm from your sample multiplied by the head circumference, subtracting 18-20% for snugness. Round the result to a number that is a multiple of 8. For example, 2.4 p.*54 cm-20%=103.68 p. round to 104 p. (104/8=13)

KNITTING Cast on the stitches calculated. Do not cast on an extra stitch to join in the round! Knit all stitches in the front, place a marker at the beginning of the round. When joining in the round, pull the yarn tight to avoid a hole. Secure the tail of the main yarn inside the casing. Knit to a height of 3-4 cm. Carefully transfer the stitches from the extra yarn to additional needles, without skipping any stitches. Check that the number of stitches on both needles is the same. Join the main and auxiliary needle together and knit one stitch from each needle together. Next, knit the height of our snood 23-27 cm. Divide the stitches into 8 equal parts and mark them with markers. Then knit 7-10 cm according to the scheme: -in odd rows before the marker make a yarn over. -in even rows knit the yarn over twisted. Finish with a 1x1 rib, knit 5-6 rows. Bind off the stitches.
