Dog Slippers. Knitting with Needles.

 Funny home slippers are knitted, with crochet details used for decoration. In such home footwear, your feet will be warm both in autumn and winter.

Size 35-36
For knitting you will need: yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 300 m/100 g) - 60 g of dark brown color, "Karolina" yarn (100% acrylic, 438 m/100 g) - leftovers of black color, "Grass" yarn (100% acrylic) - leftovers of light brown and dark brown colors, knitting needles #2.5, hook #2.75, synthetic padding.
Garter stitch: knit all rows - only knit stitches.
Ribbing 1x1: alternate knitting 1 knit stitch and 1 purl stitch.

Knitting density: 18 sts x 30 rows of garter stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
How to knit slippers with needles. Description of the work and knitting diagrams.

Start knitting with the sole. On needles with dark brown yarn doubled, cast on 26 sts and knit in garter stitch, increasing 1 st on each side in every 2nd row 6 times = 38 sts. Then knit 4 rows without increases, after that decrease 1 st on each side in every 2nd row 6 times = 26 sts. Next, knit the upper part with needles. For this, cast on an additional 7 sts (continuation of the sole), turn the work. Knit the resulting 33 sts, at the end of the row add another st. Then from this edge add 1 st in every 2nd row 5 more times (as on the sole of the slipper). Knit 12 rows straight. Then close 20 sts from the heel side, knit the remaining sts in garter stitch for another 6 rows straight. Then start decreasing from the toe side in every 2nd row 6 times 1 st. After this, cast on 20 sts again from the heel side and knit another 12 rows in ribbing 1x1. Close the stitches. Perform the seam. Ears: with "Grass" yarn of dark brown color, crochet around the slipper with 5 rows of single crochet. In the next row, after crocheting the side and reaching the fold line, add 1 strand of brown color and crochet the ear with single crochets according to the pattern. After crocheting 10 rows of half double crochets, return to the front of the product, crochet 3 single crochets and make the second ear similarly. Then crochet the ears and the side with 1 row of single crochet with "Grass" yarn of light brown color.

Snout: with "Karolina" yarn doubled cast on 16 sts, knit in garter stitch for 2 rows straight. Then increase 1 st on each side in every 2nd row 2 times = 20 sts. Knit 18 rows without increases, then decrease 1 st on each side in every 2nd row 4 times. Knit another 18 rows straight and close the stitches. Crochet around the entire perimeter of the detail with 1 row of single crochet. Then crochet another row of single crochet, skipping every 2nd single crochet of the previous row, so that the snout gathers.

Nose: with black yarn doubled, cast on a chain of 3 air stitches, join into a ring. Crochet 6 single crochets into the ring. Then continue crocheting in a circle with single crochets, evenly adding 6 stitches in each row. When the circle has a diameter of 3 cm, gather the detail at the edges, stuffing it with synthetic padding.

Assembly of the knitted slippers: sew the snout with the narrow part between the ears, slightly filling it with synthetic padding. Also fill the wide part with synthetic padding and sew it. Sew the nose onto the snout. Sew or glue the eyes.
