These socks are knitted with circular needles, starting with a square motif for the top of the foot, then the toe side is knitted, followed by the sole, heel, and cuff.

Size: women's 39-41.

Materials:
100 g of yarn, two sets of circular needles.

Gauge:
30 stitches x 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Choose the yarn thickness and needle size according to the knitting density.

Pattern:
knit in the round according to the chart.
The chart shows only the odd rows, all even rows are knitted with knit stitches.
If there are two yarn overs in a row, knit the first yarn over as a knit stitch and the second yarn over as a purl stitch.

Work description:
Top of the foot:
cast on and divide 8 stitches onto 4 needles (2 stitches on each needle).

Place a marker and join into a round.

Knit rows 1-24 according to the chart.

Then knit only the stitches on the first needle:
Knit these stitches in stockinette stitch — 10 rows, simultaneously at the end of each row make a yarn over on the fourth needle from the left side and the second needle from the right side (5 stitches added to the 4th and 2nd needles).

Continue to knit in stockinette stitch, simultaneously moving 1 working stitch to additional needles at the beginning of each row, until there are 8 stitches left on the working needles.

Next, start working short rows as follows:
Turn the work to the purl side, knit 8 stitches in stockinette stitch, turn to the knit side, knit 8+1 stitches in stockinette stitch, repeat the short rows in this manner until each side of the central eight stitches has 12 stitches knitted.

Sole:
continue knitting rows back and forth over 12+8+12 stitches, simultaneously knitting 2 together on the right side and 2 together on the wrong side with the stitches from the 2nd and 4th needles, until there are 8 stitches left on the 2nd and 4th needles.

Heel:
continue knitting in stockinette stitch, simultaneously moving 2 working stitches to additional needles at the end of each row, until there are 10 stitches left on the working needles.

Then perform short rows again:
Turn the work to the purl side, knit 10 stitches in stockinette stitch, turn to the knit side, knit 10+2 stitches in stockinette stitch, repeat the short rows in this manner until all the reserved stitches have been knitted.

Continue to knit 2 together on the right side and 2 together on the wrong side with the stitches from the 2nd and 4th needles until all stitches from the 2nd and 4th needles have been knitted.

Cuff:
knit the stitches from the working needles and the 3rd needle in stockinette stitch in the round — 2.5 cm.
Knit in ribbing 1 knit/1 purl — 3 cm.

Bind off the stitches.
