BRIM PATTERN AND LACE PATTERN
Knit in rounds according to the provided scheme. The repeat shown in the scheme = 9 sts, repeat 7 times. For the brim, repeat rounds A 12 times, then continuously repeat rounds 1–3 = lace pattern. Finally, for the toe, knit rounds 151–158 once.
GAUGE
31 sts x 46 rounds = 10 x 10 cm, knitted in lace pattern using needles No. 2.5.
PATTERNS AND SCHEMES
Make a twisted crosswise cast-on of 63 sts, distribute the stitches on 4 needles = 16/16/16/15 sts, join the work in a circle, marking the transition from row to row.
Knit according to the provided scheme with the following alternation of rows: for the brim, knit 3 cm = repeat round A 12 times, then for the leg and foot, continuously repeat rounds 1–3.
After 32.5 cm = 150 rounds from the brim or upon reaching the desired length, begin to decrease for the toe. For this, knit rounds 151–158 once.
Gather the remaining 7 sts with the working yarn as follows: draw the end of the yarn through the remaining stitches twice with a free needle, pull tight, and sew inside the sock.
TIP
For socks with a spiral pattern, you can lengthen or shorten the height of the model or the length of the foot within the repeat. For a larger or smaller diameter of the socks, you can simply use needles that are 0.25 or 0.5 sizes larger or smaller.
