Very lazy slippers, description Klubokhttp://klubok.work/1/53/7307/Klubokhttps://klubok.work/css/image/top-logo-en.pngAuthor: ironwind We will connect them according to the original description, probably only excluding the heel. We will make the heel round, without sharp corners. 2 stages:
knit the rapport *4 rows with fans *
knit the sole, attaching to the side loops. Slippers "classic" - in a bump, lazy jacquard. You can knit solid, striped, or any way you like. But we will consider the classic option. Knit the first time without looking back and trying them on: if they are too small or too large, you will definitely gift them with delight, and quickly knit another pair for yourself. It’s enough to knit once to understand the principle. So: 1. Cast on 49 stitches. 2. Knit 3-5 rows in garter stitch (in both the front and back rows all stitches are knit). 3. (You can knit 2 slippers at once). This was the introduction, the entrance for the foot, the circumference of the ankle, let's move on to the heel.
Row 1: (introducing the yellow thread) edge stitch, 1 stitch to be slipped as if knitted, the next one to be knitted, 4th to be slipped as if knitted, the next 5th to be knitted. (When slipping a stitch - the thread is behind the work). Knit until the 25th stitch, from the middle knit 9 stitches: knit, yarn over, knit ... slip the 26th, knit the 27th ... and so on to the end.
Row 2: Slip the pink stitches without knitting, thread in front of the work. Knit the yellow stitches as knits, including all 9 stitches in the center.
Rows 3-4: (again with the pink thread) knit all stitches as knits.
Repeat the first 4 rows four more times. Again, slip the knits and knit every other one, and from the center, but no longer the 25th, but the 29th, knit 9 stitches. Wrong side: slip and knit every other. 2 rows with the main color "pink" - all knits. To avoid counting the center stitch each time, do this: when approaching the fan of the previous row, look carefully at which stitch is in the middle, and knit from it. Here in the photo, it was intentionally taken off the needle. How to calculate the size: Taking the example of socks for my husband: 7 rapports in height, 7 fans = 25 cm (approximately, measured in the already finished state) - size 40-42. They turned out tight, but after washing the socks will stretch a bit and will be perfect. 6 rapports, 1 fan less = 23 cm. This is size 39-40. In height, it turned out about 7.5-8 cm. In the pink slippers, we knitted 6 rapports, measured, 20 cm. The yarn is thinner, the knitting is tighter. So we will knit 7 fans in pink. How to move on to the sole and calculate it: Look at your slipper and estimate how many stitches you want to set aside for the sole. In my husband's pair, it is 9 cm, in the pink ones - 8. This turned out to be 19 (17 in husband’s) stitches. And even if you estimated an even number, please remove 1 stitch, the sole must be odd. And the number of stitches on the sides, respectively, must be even. In the center with arrows - will be the sole. On the sides - the sides. And what can we do here. Break the thread, find the starting stitch of the sole, join and knit, but the slippers are lazy and we won't do that. We knit the beginning of the front row, the stitches of the first side. We knit the stitches of the sole and ... turn the work. From now on, we will knit only 19 stitches, in each row, both front and back, knitting the last stitch of the sole (19th) and the first stitch of the side together. Turned: 18 stitches, edge stitch and side stitch - together. This is the principle. With each row, one of our sides decreases by 1 stitch. How to easily count the middle of the sole, look again at the drawing. Without counting, we knit to the end of the fan, carefully looking at where these 9 stitches end, then: one, two, three, four ... 5 and 6 together, turned. If we are knitting 18 stitches: 19 and 20 together. Turned. How I make the heel: I love smooth lines and roundness, so my heel looks like this. I lay the knitting in front of me and look at how many stitches I want to leave directly for the heel. From 19 stitches, I selected 11. These final 11 stitches will remain open in the last row and will connect with the open stitches of the sides. So, 5 stitches on one side, and 5 on the other (you can leave 6, i.e. either 1 stitch more or less). Let's see further. So we need to decrease 4 stitches from the sole on each side. We will decrease by knitting not 2 stitches together, but 3: 1 from the side, 2 from the sole. We decrease another 4 stitches from the sides. Moving on to the heel, we need 9 stitches on the sides. We perform decreases: knit 4 front and 4 back rows by 3 stitches together. What remains - look at the photo: 11 stitches in the middle and 5 on the sides. With a hook, catch a stitch from the side, then a stitch from the sole and pull through the first stitch. Again catch a stitch from the side and pull through the stitch on the hook. "We connect" with a hook the stitches of the first side and the stitches of the half heel. In the end, 1 stitch remains, a tail sticks out nearby. We pass the tail through the stitch and sew along the edge of the heel.
