Simple slippers knitted with one piece, description

Part one (cuff): Cast on 70 stitches and knit in garter stitch (all stitches knit) for 44 rows, i.e. 11 multicolored stripes, each of which consists of 4 rows of garter stitch. Row 45 – bind off the first 15 stitches, finish the row, turn the work, and bind off another 15 stitches. There will be 40 stitches left on the needle. Part two: On the 40 stitches, knit approximately 50 rows in knit stitches (still in garter stitch). Why approximately? It's very simple: Everyone's feet are different sizes, you need to fit the piece to your own foot and orient based on that, and don't forget that knitted fabric tends to stretch, so it's best to finish the second part about 1.5-2 centimeters before the tip of the big toe:

Part three: Decrease every second stitch, i.e. knit the entire row two stitches together. As a result, there will be 20 stitches left on the needle. Knit one more row on them, then bind off all stitches. That's it – the piece is ready! Fold it in half:

Gather the toe (the just closed 20 stitches) with a needle:

and sew the edges of the piece. Now we need to finish the top of the product, for this, a hook will be needed. Let's make the edging:
