Top with knitting needleshttp://klubok.work/1/82/8784/Klubok

Yarn consumption 5 skeins
circular needles 4.5 mm
size 46-48

The top is knitted from the bottom
Cast on 180 stitches.
Join in the round and knit 4 rows of 1*1 ribbing, with twisted knit stitches (to prevent the bottom from curling).
Then knit in the round for 35 cm and divide into the back 89 stitches and the front 91 stitches.

This division is due to the odd number of stitches in the pattern, meaning we need the central stitch, and it will also help to shape the neckline.

Start decreasing for the armholes every row (in each right side row). I started to shape the neckline (for both front and back) 4 rows after the armholes. Decreases for the neckline are also done every row. I formed the decrease lines 4 stitches before the edge stitch.
When there were 4 stitches left on the needles, I switched to knitting the straps using a tubular cord. The length of my straps is 5 cm, sewn with a knitted seam at the shoulder.
The back is knitted in stockinette stitch.
The pattern for the front I found in Japanese patterns. (Chart No. 46).

The pattern repeat consists of 26 stitches. I used two and a half repeats for a width of 65 stitches. The remaining stitches on the front (13 stitches on each side) are knitted in knit stitches. To make the pattern look symmetrical after shaping the neckline, I divided the stitches in half, highlighted the central stitch on the right and left, and started the pattern from the first row. I tried to continue the pattern without interruption, but the repeat got divided, and I didn’t like it. I decided that this way would be neater.
After blocking, the fabric smoothed out, and the stitches aligned.
