DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
The blouse is knitted bottom up in a single strand. The body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round up to the armholes, then joined at the yoke and knitted together.
The main pattern is knitted only on the stitches of the front, the auxiliary pattern is knitted partially on the stitches of the back, which will form the shaping.
This description provides for a cropped length of the blouse. You can adjust it to your preferences by adding half a repeat or a full repeat.

BODY
Toothed edge
The knitting chart for the toothed edge consists of 2 rows:
Row 1: alternately knit two stitches together knitwise, one yarn over.
Row 2: for circular knitting, all stitches knit; for turning knitting, all stitches purl.
Knit 2 stitches in place of 1 knit stitch
Using a crochet hook with an auxiliary yarn, cast on onto smaller needles:
-
132 sts (for size
-
142 sts (for size 65–69 cm)
-
154 sts (for size 70–75 cm)
Mark the beginning of the round with a marker and work in the round with the main yarn (Try to knit tightly enough to prevent the toothed edge from stretching later):
Rows 1–6: knit stitches.
Row 7: 2ПВП to the right, 1 YO.
Rows 8–12: knit stitches.
Transfer the stitches from the provisional cast-on to another pair of needles of the same size, remove the auxiliary thread.
Check that the number of stitches on both pairs of needles matches.
Then fold the connected fabric so that the right side faces outward and the wrong side inward, and execute the 13th row, knitting two stitches together from one needle and from the other needle as knit.
14th row: knit stitches.
In the next row, add 44 sts/ 34 sts/ 22 sts:
15th row:
-
[3 knit stitches, 1 knit-purl slip] – repeat to the end of the row.
-
5 knit stitches, 1 knit-purl slip, [4 knit stitches, 1 knit-purl slip] – repeat 33 times, 5 knit stitches.
-
[7 knit stitches, 1 knit-purl slip] – repeat to the end of the row.
On the needles: 176 sts (88 sts back and 88 sts front).
Main section
Change to larger needles. On the stitches of the front knit the main pattern according to Chart 1 (1st horizontal row).
the pattern according to Chart 2 and Chart 3 respectively.
For convenience you can separate these stitches with markers:
Right front: МНР, 22 sts, M, 22 sts, M;
Back: 10 sts, M, 69 sts, M, 9 sts, M;
Left front: 22 sts, M, 22 sts.
Knit Rows 16–79 as follows:
Right front: 44 sts – Rows 1–64 of Chart 1;
Back: 10 sts – Rows 1–64 of Chart 2, 69 knit stitches, 9 sts – Rows 1–64 of Chart 3;
Left front: 44 sts – Rows 1–64 of Chart 1.
(See page 1 in Appendix 1)
❗ Please note that the bobble stitch pattern begins from the 2nd part of the 1st repeat, and also at the seam between the stitches of the front and back (in the last stitch of the Right Front and in the 1–2 stitches of the Left Front) the bobble pattern is not worked and the label “Bobble” in Chart 1 at these places should be ignored.
❗ The charts show only the odd rows, in which the pattern is worked.
All even rows (including the last 64th row) are knitted with knit stitches.
You can increase the body length by the required amount in 5.5 cm, which is equal to half of the vertical repeat of the main pattern (16 rows).
Thus, to increase the length by 5.5 cm, start knitting the main pattern from row 17 of Chart 1 after the increases (after the 15th row of the body) and work a total of 2.5 repeats (half a repeat: rows 17–32 of Chart 1; plus 2 full repeats: rows 1–64 of Chart 1).
To increase the length by 11 cm, start knitting from row 1 of Chart 1 and add 1 full vertical repeat (rows 1–32 of Chart 1) and knit a total of 3 repeats.
The pattern on the back stitches, knitted according to Charts 2 and 3, should be knitted the same as indicated in the corresponding rows of Charts 2 and 3. That is, if you start knitting the main pattern from row 17 of Chart 1, the pattern on the back stitches starts the same from row 17 of Chart 2 and 3, and is knitted in the same sequence as the rows of the main pattern.
Keep in mind that if the final length of the garment drops significantly below the waistline, you will need to change the initial stitch count, optimal for your size.
Don't forget that when knitting the first half of the bobble repeat, the bobbles are not worked.
SLEEVES
Garter edge
Using a crochet hook with an auxiliary yarn, cast on 44 stitches on the smaller-size needles.
Mark the start of the round with a marker and knit in the round with the main yarn:
Rows 1–6: knit.
Row 7: 2ПВП вправо, 1 Н.
Rows 8–12: knit.
Transfer the cast-on edge stitches to the other needle of the same size, remove the auxiliary yarn.
Check that the number of stitches on both needles matches.
Then fold the knitted fabric with the right side facing out, the wrong side facing in, and work the 13th row, knitting two stitches together from one needle and from the other needle.
14 row: knit.
In the next row, increase by 22 stitches:
Row 15: [2 ЛП, 1ЛППЛВЛ] – repeat to the end of the row.
Stitches on needles 66 P.
Main part
Switch to larger needles. Mark every 22 stitches with a marker, which represent one repeat of the main pattern, and knit the sleeve as follows:
Rows 16–79: 1–64 row of Chart 1.
❗ As with the body, the bobble pattern starts from the second half of the first repeat.
❗ After finishing the sleeves, mark with markers 15 underarm stitches: the first 8 stitches of the row and the last 7 stitches of the row. Remove the remaining markers. (See page 2 in Appendix 1)
Yoke
The yoke is knitted in stockinette stitch, except for the last repeat of the floral bobble pattern (if you are knitting the pattern with them).
Row 80 (joining):
Knit 37 stitches (right front), then slip 15 stitches onto an auxiliary thread or cord. Take the sleeve and with the working yarn from the body knit 51 stitches (start knitting from the first stitch of the marker row), and slip the remaining 51 sleeve stitches onto the auxiliary thread/cord.
Continue knitting the body: 73 stitches, slip the next 15 stitches onto the auxiliary thread/cord.
Attach the second sleeve: with the working yarn from the body knit 51 stitches (start knitting the sleeve from the marker, and slip the remaining 15 stitches of the sleeve onto the auxiliary thread/cord, knit 36 stitches (left front).
Continue knitting the sleeve from the marker, and slip the remaining 15 sleeve stitches onto the auxiliary thread/cord, knit 36 stitches (left front).
Stitches on needles 248 P.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
The blouse is knit bottom-up in one strand. The body and sleeves are knitted separately in the round up to the armholes, then
joined at the yoke and knitted together.
The main pattern is worked only on the front stitches; the additional pattern is worked partially on the back stitches, which in the future will form shaping.
The main pattern can also be knitted with bobbles or without them.
This description provides for a cropped length of the blouse. You can adjust it to your preference by adding half a repeat or a full repeat.

BODY
Toothed edge
Using a crochet hook with an auxiliary thread, pick up on smaller needles:
-
144 sts (for OT < 70 cm)
-
160 sts (for OT 71–78 cm)
-
168 sts (for OT 79–82 cm)
Mark the start of the round with a marker and knit in the round with the main thread (Try to knit tightly so the toothed edge does not stretch later):
Rows 1–6: K.
Row 7: k2tog to the right, 1 YO.
Rows 8–12: K
Transfer the cast-on edge stitches to another pair of needles of the same size, remove the auxiliary thread.
Check that the number of stitches on both sets of needles matches.
Then fold the knitted fabric so the right side is outside, the wrong side inside, and work the 13th row, knitting two stitches together from one needle and from the other in knit.
14th row: K
In the next row, increase 48/32/24 stitches:
Row 15:
-
[3 K, 1 M1L] – repeat to the end of the row.
-
[5 K, 1 M1L] – repeat to the end of the row.
-
[7 K, 1 M1L] – repeat to the end of the row.
On needles: 192 sts (96 sts back and 96 sts front).
MAIN PART
Change to larger needles.
On the front stitches knit the main pattern according to Diagram 1 (one horizontal repeat = 24 stitches, i.e. the front contains 4 repeats), and on the first 11 stitches and last 10 stitches of the back knit the pattern according to Diagram 2 and Diagram 3 respectively.
For convenience you can separate these stitches with markers:
Right front: MNR, 24 sts, M, 24 sts, M; Back: 11 sts, M, 75 sts, M, 10 sts, M; Left front: 24 sts, M, 24 sts.
Knit rows 16–87 as follows:
Right front: 48 sts – rows 1–72 of Diagram 1;
Back: 11 sts – rows 1–72 of Diagram 2, 75 knit stitches, 10 sts – rows 1–72 of Diagram 3;
Left front: 48 sts – rows 1–72 of Diagram 1.
❗ Note that the bobble pattern begins from the second part of the first repeat, and also at the junction of the front and back stitches (in the last stitch of the Right Front and in 1–2 stitches of the Left Front) the bobble pattern is not worked, and the label "Bobble" in Diagram 1 at these places should be ignored.
❗ The diagrams show only odd rows in which the pattern is worked. All even rows (including the last 72nd row) are knitted in knit stitches.
You can increase the body length by the required amount of 6.5 cm, which equals ½ of the vertical repeat of the main pattern (18 rows).
Thus, to increase the length by 6.5 cm, begin knitting after the increases (after the 15th row of the body) the main pattern from Row 19 of Scheme 1 and knit a total of 2.5 repeats (½ repeat: Rows 19–36 of Scheme 1 + 2 full repeats: Rows 1–72 of Scheme 1).
To increase the length by 13 cm, start knitting from Row 1 of Scheme 1 and add 1 full vertical repeat (Rows 1–36 of Scheme 1) and knit a total of 3 repeats.
The pattern on the back stitches, knitted according to Schemes 2 and 3, should be knitted as indicated in the respective rows of Schemes 2 and 3. That is, if you start knitting the main pattern from Row 19 of Scheme 1, the pattern on the back stitches begins the same from Row 19 of Schemes 2 and 3, and is knitted in the same sequence as the rows of the main pattern.
Note that if the final length of the garment falls well below the waistline, you will also need to adjust the initial stitch count, based on your measurements.
Don't forget that when knitting the first half-repeat of the bobbles, the bobbles are not worked.
SLEEVES
Toothed edge
With a crochet hook and an auxiliary thread, cast on 48 stitches on the smaller needles.
Mark the start of the round with a marker and knit in the round with the main yarn:
Rows 1–6: Knit stitches.
Row 7: 2 knit stitches to the right, 1 purl.
Rows 8–12: Knit stitches.
Transfer the stitches from the cast-on edge to another needle of the same size, remove the auxiliary thread.
Check that the number of stitches on both needles matches.
Then fold the joined fabric with the right side facing out, the wrong side facing in, knitting two stitches together from one and from the other needle knitwise, and complete the 13th row.
Row 14: Knit
In the next row, add 24 stitches:
Row 15: [2 Knit, 1 Decrease to the Left] – repeat to the end of the row.
On needles: 72 stitches.
Main part
Change to larger needles. Mark every 24 stitches with a marker, which represent 1 repeat of the main pattern, and knit the sleeve as follows:
Rows 16–87: Rows 1–72 of Scheme 1.
❗ As with the body, the bobble pattern starts from the 2nd half of the 1st repeat.
❗ At the end of knitting the sleeves, mark with markers 17 stitches underarm: the first 9 stitches of the rows and the last 8 stitches of the rows. Remove the remaining markers.
NECKLINE
The neckline is knitted in stockinette stitch, except for the last repeat of the floral bobble pattern (if you are knitting the pattern with them).
Back at the top - 79
bottom - right front piece -40, left front piece 39,
x- start of row
left - sleeves 55
Row 88 (joining):
Knit 40 stitches (right front piece), then slip 17 stitches onto an auxiliary thread or cord. Take the sleeve and with the working thread from the body knit 55 stitches (starting the sleeve from the marker), and slip the remaining 17 stitches of the sleeve onto the auxiliary thread/cord.
Continue knitting the body: 79 stitches, slip the next 17 stitches onto the auxiliary cord.
Attach the second sleeve: with the working thread from the body knit 55 stitches (starting the sleeve from the marker),
and slip the remaining 17 stitches of the sleeve onto the auxiliary thread/cord, then continue knitting the body (left front piece): 39 stitches.
On needles 268 stitches.
In the next row, perform the first row of raglan decreases and remove the old markers, except for the MN R, and place new markers along the raglan lines (RM) as shown below.
Row 89:
MNR, 37 stitches, 2PVP to the right, 1 stitch, RM, 1 stitch, 2PVP to the left, 49 stitches, 2PVP to the right, 1 stitch, RM, 1 stitch, 2PVP to the left, 73 stitches, 2PVP to the right, 1 stitch, RM, 1 stitch, 2PVP to the left, 49 stitches, 2PVP to the right, 1 stitch, RM, 1 stitch, 2PV to the left, 36 stitches.
8 stitches decreased. On needles 260 stitches.
In the next row, perform the first row of increases for folds in the sleeves and place increase markers (IM) to mark the lines of increases.
Row 90:
MNR, 39 stitches, RM, 20 stitches, IM, 1 knit stitch to the right, 5 stitches, IM, 1 decrease to the left, 3 stitches, 1 decrease to the left, IM, 5 stitches, IM, 1 decrease to the right, 20 stitches, RM, 77 stitches, RM, 20 stitches, IM, 1 decrease to the right, 5 stitches, IM, 1 decrease to the left, 3 stitches, 1 decrease to the left, IM, 5 stitches, IM, 1 decrease to the right, 20 stitches, RM, 38 stitches.
Added 8 stitches. On needles 268 stitches.
Then knit as follows: in odd rows perform raglan decreases, in even rows — increases for folds in the sleeves.
Row 91:
MNR, [knit until 3 stitches before RM, 2PVP to the right, 1 stitch, slip RM, 1 stitch, 2PVP to the left] — 4 times; knit to the end of the row.
Decreased by 8 stitches. On needles 260 stitches.
❗ In rows 92, 94, 96 knit bobbles, symmetric to the bobbles knitted in the previous repeat of the pattern.
Row 92:
MNR, [knit stitches to the marker, slip the marker, 1 decrease to the right] — 2 times, [knit stitches to the marker, 1 decrease to the left, slip the marker] — 2 times, [knit stitches to the marker, slip the marker, 1 decrease to the right] — 2 times, [knit stitches to the marker, 1 decrease to the left, slip the marker] — 2 times, knit to the end of the row.
Added 8 stitches. On needles 248 stitches.

EDGE
Rows 153–158: Knit stitches.
Row 159: 2ПВЛ to the right, YO.
Rows 160–164: Knit stitches.
Fold the fabric in half and sew with mattress stitch, from stitch to stitch, from the needle to the row marked with the thread.
Finishing and Blocking (ВТО)
Sew the side edges with mattress stitch.
Weave in the ends, tighten if necessary the pattern stitches.
Wash the garment following the care instructions on your yarn label.
Block the damp garment on a flat surface according to the final measurements.
Smooth out and shape the bobbles into a rounded form.
1. Body
The photos show the part labeled “Body,” knitted according to the instructions for size 40–42.
Therefore the stitch count may differ from what you have on your needles.
Please refer to the numbers in the size instructions for your size.
The method of distributing stitches across all sizes is the same, so visually it will look the same,
except for the stitch counts and a slight difference in the pattern itself.
The number of bobbles is also the same in every size.
(Under the photo there are captions: “right front”, “beginning of row”, “left front”, “back”, “front”, “in the first half of the vertical repeat the bobble is not knitted”, “at the seam of the front and back the bobble pattern is not knitted”.)
2. Armhole Shaping
The photos show the sleeve knitted for size 40–42.
Therefore the stitch count may differ from what you have on your needles.
Please follow the numbers in the size instructions for your size.
The method of lifting stitches for armhole shaping is the same for all sizes,
so visually it will look the same,
apart from the stitch counts and a small difference in the pattern itself.
When joining sleeves and body, start the sleeve knitting from the place,
marked with a purple marker.
You can immediately transfer the armhole stitches onto an extra thread,
a running cord or a stitch holder.
Then when knitting the first joining row of the yoke,
these stitches do not need to be removed.
(Captions in the photos: “armhole stitches”, “beginning of row”.)
3. Yoke. Increases in the sleeves
The photograph shows the garment after completing the last row with increases in the sleeves.
Captions in the photos:
-
increase markers
-
raglan markers
-
beginning of row
-
groups of bobbles that are knitted already in the yoke
The number of rows after joining into the yoke and increases in the sleeve may differ from what you have on your needles.
Please refer to the numbers in the description for your size.
