Pattern "Ducklings" (knitting needles)

For the sample, cast on 12 sts.

Row 1: knit;
Row 2: knit;
Row 3: edge st., 1 purl, 8 knit sts., 1 purl, edge st.;
Row 4: knit according to the pattern;
Rows 5 and 13: edge st., 1 purl, 4 sts. cross right: place 2 knit sts. on a holding needle behind the work, knit the next 2 knit sts., then knit the 2 sts. from the holding needle; 4 sts. cross left: place 2 knit sts. on a holding needle in front of the work, knit the next 2 knit sts., then knit the 2 sts. from the holding needle; 1 purl, edge st.;
Rows 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12: knit according to the pattern;
Row 14: knit according to the pattern;
Row 15: edge st., 1 purl, 1 knit, make 2 sts. from 1 knit st. with red yarn (through the back loop and through the front loop) = 4 sts., turn, 4 purl sts., turn, 4 knit sts., turn, purl 2 together, turn and knit these 2 sts. with white yarn;
Rows 16, 17, 18, 19, 20: knit according to the pattern;
Row 21: edge st., 1 purl, 4 sts. cross left: place 2 knit sts. on a holding needle in front of the work, knit the next 2 knit sts., then knit the 2 sts. from the holding needle; 4 sts. cross right: place 2 knit sts. on a holding needle behind the work, knit the next 2 knit sts., then knit the 2 sts. from the holding needle; 1 purl, edge st.;
Rows 22, 23, 24: knit knit sts.

Sew on eyes or make them with a needle and black thread, mark the duckling's feet with red yarn
