PATTERN

The scheme indicates only the front rows, in the back rows knit according to the pattern, yarn overs are knitted purlwise. The pattern repeat is 16 stitches wide. The number of stitches in the pattern varies. To start knitting the 1st row, cast on a number of stitches that is a multiple of 16 + 8 stitches before the repeat and 9 stitches after. For height, repeat from the 1st to the 28th row. The pink squares indicate - NO STITCH (simply ignore them while knitting)

Knit two together knitwise with a right-leaning decrease (Insert the needle into the 2nd stitch and 1st stitch, starting from the second and knit them together.)

Knit two together with a left-leaning decrease (Slip the first stitch as if to knit, knit the 2nd stitch, and pull the slipped stitch over it)

3 stitches together knitwise, 2nd in the center (Slip two stitches without knitting as if to knit, yarn at the back, knit the 3rd stitch knitwise, insert the left needle into the slipped stitches, lift them over the knitted stitch and pull the stitch)

Insert the right needle into 3 stitches at the front loops, pull the working yarn, make 1 yarn over, again insert the right needle into 3 stitches, pull the working yarn, 1 yarn over, and so on, when there are 7 stitches on the right needle, drop the stitches from the left needle.
