Unusual pattern with knitting needles

Knit the fabric with any pattern of your choice, in this case, it is knitted using garter stitch. The number of stitches is odd. Borders: 1 edge stitch, alternating 1 purl stitch, add 5 stitches (knit them in stockinette stitch later), at the end of the row 1 purl stitch, 1 edge stitch. Then knit 20-26 rows according to the pattern. Then close all 5 knit stitches (added in the 1st row), so the number of stitches should correspond to the number of stitches before forming the borders. Then continue knitting in garter stitch or another pattern of your choice.
