Bilateral lace pattern with knitting needles: "Flame tongues"

An excellent pattern for lace scarves, as it looks the same on both the front and back sides! All you need to know how to knit is the knit stitch, purl stitch, yarn over, and 3 stitches together knit! So the pattern is also quite simple. Truly a dream for any knitter!
In English, the pattern is called "Flaming Hearts," which literally means "Flaming Hearts." Indeed, it resembles flames and hearts when you turn the knitting upside down. But the translation into Russian as "Flame Tongues" seems to me more melodious and perfectly suited to the pattern.

All purl rows are knitted according to the pattern. Yarn overs are knitted as purls. For beginners, a description of the purl rows is provided.

The pattern repeat is 14 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

To make a sample, cast on 30 stitches.

Row 5. (2 knits, 2 purls, yarn over, 1 knit, yarn over, 2 purls, 2 knits, 1 purl, 3 together knit, 1 purl.) — repeat a total of 2 times.
Row 6. (1 knit, 1 purl, 1 knit, 2 purls, 2 knits, 3 purls, 2 knits, 2 purls.) — repeat a total of 2 times.
