Pattern

To execute this pattern, the number of cast on  stitches must be a multiple of 10 plus 11 stitches for the symmetry of the pattern, plus 2 edge stitches.

The first row - edge stitch, 2 together knit, 3 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, *1 yarn over, 3 knit, 3 together knit, 3 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 purl*, 1 yarn over, 3 knit, 2 together knit, edge stitch.

The second row and all even rows knit as pattern.

The third, fifth, and seventh rows - knit as the first row.

The ninth row - edge stitch, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 3 knit, 3 together knit, *3 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 3 knit, 3 together knit.* 3 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, edge stitch.

The eleventh, thirteenth, and fifteenth rows knit as the ninth row.

Repeat the pattern from the first to the sixteenth row.
