Lace Pattern with Braids:

Cast on 32 sts + 2 edge stitches and knit according to the chart, which shows each row as it appears from the front side of the work.

The numbers on the right indicate the right-side rows, those on the left - the wrong-side rows.

Read the right-side rows from right to left, the wrong-side rows from left to right.

Pattern Repeat: 32 sts in width.

Repeat from rows 1 to 36 in height.

1. Cross 6 knit stitches to the right: leave 3 sts on a spare needle behind the work, knit 3 sts and the stitches from the spare needle.

2. Cross 6 knit stitches to the left: leave 3 sts on a spare needle in front of the work, knit 3 sts and the stitches from the spare needle.

3. 1 knit stitch.
4.  Knit 3 stitches together.
5.  Knit 3 stitches together with a yarn over: (slip 1 stitch as knit, knit 2 stitches together and pull the resulting stitch through the slipped stitch)
6. —  1 purl stitch.
7. ○  1 yarn over
