Pattern

This is a sample just knitted, and below - after washing and blocking

The chart shows both knit and purl rows. Knit rows are left to right, purl rows — right to left. The pattern repeat is 22 stitches wide and 28 rows high.

For symmetry, knit 11 stitches before the repeat and 12 stitches after the repeat.

Legend:

In patterns where yarn overs, knitting 2  or 3 stitches together need to be done in purl rows, you must follow the instructions for knitting these stitches.

Two knit stitches together knitwise with a right-leaning decrease (Insert the needle into the 2nd stitch and the 1st stitch, starting from the second and knit them together.)

In purl rows, a stitch with the same symbol should be knitted as 2 purl stitches together with a left-leaning decrease

Two knit stitches together with a left-leaning decrease (Slip the first stitch as if to knit, knit the 2nd stitch and pull the slipped stitch over it)

In purl rows, a stitch with the same symbol should be knitted as 2 purl stitches together with a right-leaning decrease.

3 stitches together knitwise with a left-leaning decrease (Slip 1 stitch without knitting, knit the next 2 stitches together through the front loops, and pull the resulting stitch through the slipped stitch)
