Original braiding of braids with knitting needles

The braid is knitted on 16 stitches.
Setup row: purl stitches.
Row 1 (RS): 10 knit, [turn, 4 purl, turn, 4 knit] 3 times, slip these 4 stitches to a holder and leave in front, bring the yarn back, transfer 4 stitches from the right needle to the left, 10 knit.
Row 2: 10 purl, then 4 purl from the holder, 2 purl.
Row 3: 10 knit, [turn, 4 purl, turn, 4 knit] 3 times, slip these 4 stitches to a holder and leave in front, bring the yarn back, transfer 4 stitches from the left needle to the right, 2 knit.
Row 4: 2 purl, 4 knit from the holder, 10 purl.
Repeat 4 rows.
