Pattern knitting ''Fish tail''

This beautiful pattern is perfect for knitting summer tops, tank tops, cardigans, and shawls. It is also often used for knitting borders.

Double decrease of stitches: slip 1 stitch purlwise, knit 2 together, place the slipped stitch over the knit 2 together.

The number of cast-on stitches is a multiple of 10.

Row 1 (RS): * yarn over, 3 knit, double decrease of sts, 3 knit, yarn over, 1 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 2 (WS): purl all stitches.

Row 3: * 1 knit, yarn over, 2 knit, double decrease of sts, 2 knit, yarn over, 1 knit, 1 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Rows 4 and 6: * 1 knit, 9 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 5: * 2 knit, yarn over, 1 knit, double decrease of sts, 1 knit, yarn over, 2 knit, 1 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 7: * 3 knit, yarn over, double decrease of sts, yarn over, 3 knit, 1 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 8: purl all stitches.

Repeat rows 1-8 to create the pattern.
