Knitting pattern

This is a two-sided pattern, it is perfect for blankets, scarves, and shawls.

The number of cast-on stitches is a multiple of 5.

Row 1 (WS) : * 1 purl, 4 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 2 (RS) : * 3 purl, 2 knit; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 3 : repeat row 2.

Row 4 : repeat row 1.

Row 5 : * 1 knit, 4 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 6 : * 3 knit, 2 purl; repeat from * to the end of the row.

Row 7 : repeat row 6.

Row 8 : repeat row 5.

Repeat rows 1-8 to complete the pattern.
