Pattern

The pattern appears on the reverse side.

The number of stitches is a multiple of 2 + 2 edge stitches.

Row 1 (preparatory): edge stitch, * 1 knit stitch through the front loop, 1 purl,*   edge stitch.

Row 2: edge stitch, * 1 knit through the front loop, 1 purl, * edge stitch.

Row 3:  edge stitch, * 1 knit, yarn over, slip the next stitch purlwise, *  edge stitch.

Row 4:  edge stitch, * add a second yarn over to the stitch with one yarn over and transfer the stitch to the right needle without knitting, knit the stitch with two yarn overs as purl,  * edge stitch.

Row 5:  edge stitch, * 1 knit, purl two yarn over stitches together, *  edge stitch.

To execute the pattern, repeat from the second row.
