Lacy braids with knitting needles are made with a mesh in the center of each "interweaving"

5th row: 2 purl, *crossing 2*2 to the left, 2 purl, 2 knit, yarn over, decrease to the left, 2 purl, repeat from * to the last 6 stitches, crossing 2*2 to the left, 2 purl.
7th row: 2 purl, *2 knit, yarn over, decrease to the left, 2 purl, repeat from *
9th row: 2 purl, *2 knit, yarn over, decrease to the left, 2 purl, repeat from *
