Pattern with braids from English ribbing. The pattern is knitted according to the chart for 57 sts. I used this pattern to knit a pullover from Pechorka Popular yarn. On size 4 needles, I cast on 91 sts and knitted a 6cm ribbing. 1 purl x 1 knit (starting with the edge stitch, 1 purl). Then knit according to the chart for rows 1 and 2 in English ribbing. English ribbing pattern: 1st (knit) row: 1 edge, 1 purl. *1 knit st. slipped with a yarn over as purl, 1 purl. Repeat from * 1 edge. 2nd (purl) row: 1 edge, 1 knit. *Knit the st. and yarn over from the previous row as purl, 1 knit, repeat from *, 1 edge. | Knit as follows: edge, 16 sts in English ribbing, starting with 1 purl, 57 sts of the pattern with braids from English ribbing (see chart, in purl rows knit according to the pattern or designation. Do 1 time from rows 1 to 26, repeat from rows 3 to 26), 16 sts in English ribbing, symmetrically to the beginning of the row, starting with 1 knit in English ribbing. After 35 cm from the ribbing, I bound off 4 sts on both sides for the armholes and in the 2nd row 1x2 sts.=79 sts. After 21 cm from the beginning of the armholes, bind off all sts. To simplify the knitting, I created my own chart to make it easier to track how to knit the added st from the cross thread: knit or purl. (I recommend calculating all sts of the chart from row to row). Knit the front of the pullover as the back, but for the neckline, after 16 cm from the beginning of the armholes, bind off the middle 31 sts and bind off in every 2nd row 1x3 sts, 2x2 sts, 3x1 st. After 5 cm from the beginning of the neckline, bind off the remaining 14 sts for the shoulder.
