Today I want to show you how to knit a very beautiful, fluffy pattern with needles. It can be used as a volumetric ribbing or as an independent pattern, for example for a hat. The pattern looks especially beautiful and voluminous if knitted with 2 or 3 thin threads. The rapport of the pattern is 4 stitches and 2 rows.

.

My sample is knitted with two threads of Children's Caprice yarn, with a meterage of 50 g / 225 m.

Description:

Cast on a number of stitches that is a multiple of 4 + 2 p. + 2 edge stitches and knit according to the pattern:

Row 1 (wrong side): edge, *2 knit, from 2 p. make 5 stitches (1 purl, yarn over, 1 purl, yarn over, 1 purl)*, at the end of the row 2 knit, edge.
Row 2 (right side): edge, 2 purl, *2 knit together through the back loop and 3 knit together through the back loop, 2 purl*, edge.
Continue knitting by repeating rows 1 and 2.

Knitting in the round is also not difficult.

The number of stitches is a multiple of 4.

Row 1: *2 purl, from 2 p. make 5 p. (knit, yarn over, knit, yarn over, knit)
Row 2: *2 purl, 2 knit together through the back loop and 3 knit together through the back loop*
Continue knitting by repeating rows 1 and 2.
