1️⃣ + — edge stitch
(at the beginning of the row it is slipped, at the end it is knitted as purl).

2️⃣ | — knit stitch

3️⃣   — purl stitch

4️⃣ O — yarn over

5️⃣



 — knit twisted on the purl side

6️⃣  — knit stitch, knitted through the stitch one row below
(in the purl row knit as purl).

7️⃣ > — two together knit with a right slant

8️⃣ < — two together knit with a left slant

⟦ 4 sts. on a spare needle in front of work, 4 knit. ⟧ —
crossover to the right:
Slip 4 stitches onto a spare needle and leave in front of work,
knit 4 knit stitches, then the stitches from the spare needle.

crossover to the left:
Slip 4 stitches onto a spare needle and leave behind work,
knit 4 knit stitches, then the stitches from the spare needle.

📏 Pattern repeat: 17 stitches × 19 rows.
🧶 The chart is read bottom to top, from right to left in knit rows and vice versa — in purl rows.
