Pattern for a sweater

Legend:

• – : purl stitch

• U : yarn over

• ∧ : knit 2 stitches together

• ∨ : 1 stitch slipped (slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1, pull the slipped stitch over the knitted one)

• V (checkmark with the number 3) : knit 3 stitches together

• Empty cell : knit stitch

How to knit:

• Read the chart from right to left on the knit rows, left to right — on the purl rows (if the pattern is not circular).

• Purl rows are knitted according to the pattern, that is, as the stitches appear, and yarn overs — purlwise.
